Info: Cody is the youngest of the new DigiDestined and his connection to them happened long ago. His father was best friends with Oikawa Yukio and the two of them somehow communicated with the Digital World via a video game. Cody's grandfather thought that was all they did, and put a stop to it, yet the two of them continued their work on a specail project(unknown) until Hiroki got married and had a son, Cody and he became a policeman. Yet during an attempt to assassinate an important political figure, Hiroki took the full shot and was killed in action, leaving Oikawa alone and Cody without a father. It wasn't until 1999 during which the Digital World was seen in the sky, that Cody saw his first Digimon; he nad his family were on board the plane that came into contact with the warp and Cody saw Garudamon and MegaKabuterimon.

Three years later, Cody and Yolei who were friends at the time, met TK who had moved into their apartment building and the three of them went to the same school, yet after Tai touched the DigiEgg of Courage in an attempt to lift it, three new Digivices appeared, one of which was for Cody, He would go to the Digital World the next day where he got to find a DigiEgg for him, as well as his own partner in Armadillomon.

Some time later, Cody felt he wasn't being as helpful as he should be, thinking that he was letting the team down, yet his grandfather told him that he just tried his hardest, he'd find that he wasn't letting anyone down. He joined late in the next battle with the Emperor, but during a struggle against several Frigimon, he fell off and into the ice cold water. Joe satyed with him ehile he kept warm and after the battle, Cody intoroduced himself to Joe.

For the next series of adventures, Cody was there when they needed him, but when they got trapped on an off-shore oil rig, Cody's fears of the water were revealed. The others wanted him to be the one to go get help so that he could conquer his fears, and drew sticks to make him be the one to go, but Cody knew what they were doing and exposed the plan, but Davis and TK placed him into the submarine anyway and launched it. Cody went back home in order to bring Joe, yet had to lie to get him out of his test, a lie that Cody didn't enjoy doing. When the next DigiEgg was found, Cody couldn't accept it due to what he did, but thanks to some convincing from Joe, Cody took the egg and also got over his fear of water at the same time.

Cody later entered the scret underwater area of Ken's base and with TK freed all the Digimon, yet when TK stormed off, Cody didn't know why he did that but he would soon enough. Cody was the strongest person in terms of not forgiving Ken for what he did as the Emperor. While helping to rebuild a village, Cody and Digmon were attacked by Thundermon and it was here that Armadillomon digivolved to Anklyomon in order to drive Thundermon away for Cody told him not to fight. Cody got caught in a rock slide whirlwind, only to be saved by Stingmon, yet he didn't understand Ken's involvement again in the Digital World or why he saved him, but still couldn't forgice him, at least not yet. Cody would protest in Ken coming to help them to deal with his old base, and in Giga House, Cody and Submarimon saved Ken when he fell into the water of a giant washing machine, yet Cody did it for he owed him for saving his life from Thundermon.

When it was apparant that Cody was going to be DNA partners with TK, he tried to understand TK's feelings. But when he saw TK act like he did back at Ken's old base, he tried to inquire TK about his actions. When he got nothing from that, Cody phoned Matt and he explained everything to him and he understood why TK was so against the powers of darkness, due to the fact that he lost Angemon once and didn't want it to happen again. Cody then blocked BlackWarGreymon from the sixth Destiny Stone for he believed that the Digimon had a heart, yet BlackWarGreymon still destroyed the stone, but not Cody. Once he understood TK's motivations, their Digimon could at last DNA digivolve.

Also, Cody's hatred of Ken toned down until it was completely out of his system and finally accepted him as a friend and was glad to accept the invitation that he got. This is due to Cody also understanding that Ken was in a similar situation to TK, just with different results. During the Digimon World Tour, Cody joined Joe in Austrailia where it was so hot and during winter no less(summer down under of course) and with help from Derek(Dingo) and Hogan, Gennai's counterpart, they were able to send all of the Digimon back.

But it was during the Daemon Corps. situation that Cody witnessed a real Digimon being killed, something he had never seen before, and let him feeling empty inside. This same feeling would come back when Shakkoumon had no choice but to destroy MarineDevimon otherwise Cody would have been hurt badly, yet he showed his friendship and support for Ken when he helped to seal Daemon in the Dark Ocean.

Later, Cody would meet Oikawa in person only to find that he was the friend of his father and vice versa that Oikawa learned that Cody was the son of his old friend. This leads to Oikawa wanting to enter the Digital World more than ever yet didn't due to MalMyotismon being inside of him.

With his Mental Illusion attack, Cody was subjected to his one desire of being with his father again and showing him the Digital World, yet he found out that it was all just an illusion,, he helped out in the cause to defeat MaloMyotismon for good. Yet he went back to the dream dimension in order to help Oikawa into the Digital World for the first time in his life, yet Oikawa didn't have the strength to carry on anymore thus used what was left to turn his body into particles which then spread as butterflies across the Digital World.

25 years later, Cody has become an attorney, yet he has bough 100 briefcases due to the fact that Armadillomon keeps on sitting on them and he has a daughter who follows his footsteps very well.
