31. Opposites Attract
    The DigiDestined were beaten, were completely helpless against the power of BlackWarGreymon. Kari decides that they should look for Gatomon's lost Tail Ring for it might help them. She ands Yolei find Ken due to him screaming, and the three of them wind up crossing over into the World of Darkness. Yolei doesn't seem to understand her new surroundings, yet Ken and Kari can feel the darkness come near and even Yolei starts to freak out. When the two girls slap the other across the face and understand each other, it is enough for a new DNA digivolution.

32. If I Only Had a Heart
    BlackWarGreymon continues to ponder his reason for even existing, yet destroying unliving Digimon isn't worth it for him. He then meets Agumon and the two of them have a conversation and it wins up into a discussion of BlackWarGreymon having a heart. The DigiDestined face off against Arukenimon and Mummymon who are trying to destroy Destiny Stones which will throw the Digital World off balance, yet when Knightmon breaks the seal on the stone, it gives BlackWarGreymon intense pain as well as a purpose

33. A Chance Encounter
    On a class trip to Kyoto, Yolei is shocked to see BlackWarGreymon walking around, yet no one can see him passing through. Other Digimon are also following him like he was their leader. Battles with these Digimon would ensue, yet the purpose of BlackWarGreymon's visit is unclear, and even when he returns to the Digital World, there are more questions than answers.

34. Destiny in Doubt
   TK's anger has resurfaced again due to BlackWarGreymon's actions in terms of destroying the Destiny Stones, yet when Gabumon reveals that he has a heart, TK wouldn't believe it and stormed off to find and destroy the creature. Yet, BlackWarGreymon wanted to destroy the stones so had he could fight his ultimate opponent, yet not even MagnaAngemon woas able to steer BlackWarGreymon to a different path for his purge continues.

35. Cody Takes a Stand
    Cody is trying to understand why TK is so angry towards the powers of darkness, so he consultes Matt and the truth is revealed to him. With this new knowledge, Cody is determined to find out for himself if BlackWarGreymon has a heart, so he stands in front of the sixth Destiny Stone and confronts the Mega. At first, BlackWarGreymon couldn't attack, but his purpose came back and he destroyed the stone, leaving Cody shaken and one stone left.

36. Stone Soup
    Digitamamon returns with a new resturant that serves delicious soup, yet seems to cancel digivolutions after a while, yet when Mummymon was demanding to find out what made the soup so good, he discovered that the flavor was coming from the final Destiny Stone, which he also took the seal off, leaving it an open target for BlackWarGreymon, yet with TK and Cody now DNA partners, the battle to save the Digital World is on.

37. Kyoto Dragon
    Even with three DNA Digimon, BlackWarGreymon is still too powerful to be stopped and won't give up until he has faced his opponent. The DigiDestined then attempt to move the last stone with their D3's only to wind up freeing Azulongmon, the one BlackWarGreymon was after. Yet Azulongmon told him to go and find his purpose in life and then proceeded to explain to the DigiDestined the reason behind their recruitment and TK and Kari's role in the grand scheme of things, yet he also warned them of an even greater enemy.

38. A Very Digi-Christmas
    It's now Christmas time and the older kids get to be with their partners again for a present from the new kids. Matt's band the Teenage Wolves hold a concert, but it gets shattered with the arrival of several wild Digimon and a Control Spire, in the real world, thus a new battle has begun on the earth, but this time, no one knows who is behind or why it is happening.

39. Dramon Power
    One day after Christmas, new stations have revealed that Digimon are appearing all over the world due to all the Digiports being opened. Gennai gives the old Digimon a power boost with one of Azulongmon's digicores as well as allowing Paildramon the abilty to become his Mega form of Imperialdramon, yet the real mission has to begin. Japan is now free of the wild Digimon, yet the rest of the world now needs help and the Worldwide Tour is about to begin.

40. Digimon World Tour Part 1
    Davis joins Mimi and Michael in New York along with some other American DigiDestined as they travel through the big apple to find the wild Digimon yet a battle ensues due to a Cherrymon going on the rampage after being caught. In China, Kari and Izzy get help from the Poi Brothers and from the Chinese Military in order to round up the remaining Digimon.
