It was here that she met Michael and became friends with him and discovered that he was a DigiDestined as well. She even became American-ized due to her appearance and even dying her hair in her favorite colour, pink. Mimi first emailed Kari for she too was asking the same question that the others were, about the Digimon Emperor and what has happened to their Digimon. She would later fly to Tokyo to see for herself and wound up meeting the new DigiDestined. She recognized TK and Kari and vice versa and invited to come with them on a picnic to the Digital World. She and Yolei got separated from the others and wound up in a place called the Night Forest where Mimi and Palmon reunited and got her hair and her roots tangled up. After evading the same Gekomon and Otamamon that Mimi remembered from Adventure, she and Yolei defeated the two Roachmon by tricking them with a little light show making them crash into a control spire. After that, she and Yolei became good friends. Later on, Izzy noted a Digiport opening in the New York. Turns out it was Mimi and she invited Micheal with him to meet the new DigiDestined at Digitamamon's diner. TK remembered him from before and he said that he had changed since then, although Yolei didn't believe in it. Digitamamon would later come back under the control of a dark spiral and wanted a fight, yet Mimi got in his way telling him that he was good now. He answered with a headbutt, knocking her down and causing Yolei to become furious and expressing her feelings, allowing her to obtain her DigiEgg of Sincerity. Mimi appeared again during the cleanup and restoration of the Digital World and she had changed her hair style(a perm now) and was feeding some YukumiBotamon. She got a message from Palmon that she had been hurt and Mimi contacted the others. Yolei was reluctant to invite Ken, yet Mimi told her not to get started with her and Mimi invited him. Palmon would reveal that Golemon the one who attacked her wasn't real and Yolei's feelings towards Ken were for the good from then on. Her last major appearance was during the Digimon World Tour. Davis came to New York to join up with Mimi, Michael and the other DD's there to round up all the Digimon loose in the big apple. Mimi sported a brand new hairstyle, although now it was her original hair colour but completely down. Thanks to Benjaman, another of Jennai's counterparts, Palmon was able to digivolve into Lillymon once again and following a distress call from Rockefeller Center, a battle to get a wild Cherrymon under control proved to have some very funny results. Her last appearance was also a brief one during the final battle against MaloMyotismon. Mimi was the first person to activate her digivice which would eventually lead the DD's from around the world to join in the final battle. 25 years later, Mimi has become a cook and she and Palmon now have their own cooking show. Her son bears a striking resemblance to Michael even though this hasn't been proven. |
