| Story After the DigiDestined defeated VenomMyotismon, his data had no place to be reborn, but when a young man named Oikawa Yukio wished for the kids to take him with them, the demon lord made a deal that if Oikawa soothed his heart with darkness, he'd take Oikawa to the Digital World. Oikawa not realizing the point, agreed to do so, and Myotismon had himself, a host body. Over the next few years, Myotismon manipulated Oikawa's actions making him do his plans for him. He turned his DNA into data and created Arukenimon and Mummymon, two human hybrid Digimon to carry out his orders for him. Since he could not enter the Digital World himself via the keycards Myotismon used to enter the Real World, Oikawa became more and more desparate to go there himself. He was invited to the funeral of Sam Ichijouji for he was a friend of Sam's father and it there that he knew that Ken was a DigiDestined. Oikawa had his two Digimon manipulate and mold Ken into the Digimon Emperor and implanted the ideas of the Control Spires and Dark Rings into his head. Ken donned his Emperor costume and began to take over the Digital World, disrupting the barriers which would allow Oikawa himself to enter. It was at this time that Ken built his base of operations, yet due to his Crest of Kindness no longer flowing, the four Harmonious Ones, still sealed away by the Control Spires, took the crest and rebuilt it into the DigiEgg of Miracles, which Ken found and used it to power his base. The Harmonious soon after this event, recruited three Digimon with which to battle the Emperor as well as to recruit three new DigiDestined to be their partners. Since the spires blocked out digivolving, the Harmonious Ones used the anceint method of armor digivolving which was able to bypass the Control Spires effects thus they waited until the time was right for them to begin the mission to save the Digital World. This is where Tai Kamiya, leader of the first team came in and with his hands, the three new recruits were chosen and their adventure would begin, with them defeating the Emperor time and time again. Yet, little did any of them know, that the real enemy was from the past whom they all though had been destroyed for good and had been waiting for many years for the day he would be reborn as the Demon Lord of the Digimon.... |
