Episode 43: Beelzemon's Big Day

At the start was those strange birds of the D-Reaper(known as the ADR-02) and the Tamers decided to leave it for the night at the school. They made bread in the morning including Guilmon bread, the entire scene was kawaii in my view. Impmon was searching for his partners and he found them, and they were sorry for their mistakes which led to him running away. Yamaki, Riley and Tally met with the Tamers to find out as much as they could about the D-Reaper and Shibumi has now returned. What he said about the actions of th D-Reaper and of humans relates to real life experiences like the enviorment. The Tamers then faced another part of the D-Reaper who could mimic their attacks. Everytime the Digimon got hurt, the Tamers did too showing that the bond between them was really strong. Mako gave Impmon his gun as along the way he became Beelzemon and the gun turned into his Positron Gun and he grew black wings. Beelzemon Blast Mode then saved the day, through some skeptism from the others. The question now is, was that Jeri who Takato saw from the corner of his eye?

Episode 45: The D-Reapers Disguise

We saw the Tamers biomerge to take on the D-Reaper.  The first few minutes showed Takato, Henry and Rika giving their thoughts on what was happening and what could be done to end it. At first things were going well, until Gallantmon was pulled into the D-Reaper itself. Takato and Guilmon found Jeri there, but Guilmon sensed that it wasn't her, but she was using past memories to confuse Takato and give him great pain in his mind. The episode ended when a new Digimon appeared on the scene after Kazu and Gardromon arrived.

Episode 46: When is a Mon, Justimon?

The other new episode revealed that the new Digimon was Justimon, Ryo and Cyberdramon's Mega form. It doesn't explain how it happened but he took on the newest agent of the D-Reaper. Takato was still having his mind ripped apart by what seems to be Jeri, but Calumon and Beelzemon managed to find the real Jeri. The D-Reaper had been using her sadness to strengthen itself all this time. The other Jeri turned out to be another of the D-Reapers agents in disguise but she was thwarted by none other than MarineAngemon with his little hearts. Some strong attacks come in really small sizes. Now, the Tamers have to find a way to find and save Jeri, in addition to Calumon and Beelzemon.

Episode 47: His Kingdom For A Horse.

Calumon tries to make Jeri feel better, but nothing seems to work. The Tamers learn that the D-Reaper is continuing to get larger as it expands. Jeri's father steals the vehicle they use to get around for he wanted to save Jeri by himself. As for Jeri, she was constantly being plagued by the nightmares of her past, and we now know what her past was like. Agent 7 used her voice to analyze Jeri's father, but it didn't understand the concept of the word, as it was an unknown idea. The monster makers had been busy recreating the ARK in a new form named Grani(after Siegfried's horse) and when Gallantmon activated it, it became his steed for flying around.

Episode 48: Shadow of the Beast King.

Beelzemon finally wakes up and he said he would do anything to save Jeri. The D-Reaper ejects him and creates a barrier around itself as Jeri was a part of the core conciousness. Gallantmon and Beelzemon try to break through but that large eye proved to be too strong, until Gallantmon used Grani's Yuggoth Blaster to break the shield. In a twist of fate, Beelzemon used Leomon's own Feast of the Beast King to attempt to get to Jeri, but she was afraid and said that he wasn't Leomon. Guess she still remembers that part. The episode ended when Beelzemon was struck by the D-Reaper and as he falls, he is slowly turning back into data.

Episode 49: D-Reapers Feast.

When Beelzemon failed to rescue Jeri, he fell and was slowly being deleted. He fell into the D-Reaper and everyone thought that he was dead, but Grani managed to save him for he had reverted back to Impmon. Yamaki told the Tamers to fall back due to the military making another attempt to do something, Takato protested this at first, but eventually agreed to retreat. Takato was next seen at the beach where he saw his cousin Kai, who was voiced by none other than Brain Donovan(which I thought was a nice touch) Here, Takato admitted that he liked Jeri and he got some great character building from it. Rika and her family were having dinner and Renamon said that Digimon have no gender. This brings up some others questions from the previous seasons and this one from that. Jeri meanwhile continued to blame herself for what was happening and Agent 1 used this to strengthen the D-Reaper even more than before. Shibumi created a special red card that could be the key to defeating the D-Reaper once and for all.

All in all, this was a great episode for it has staged the set for the season finale tomorrow. I would rate this episode
9.5/10 for I really liked the character building on Takato and the scenes with Kai were a great help to that. Plus, their determination to help Jeri was even stronger here.

Episode 50: Jeri Fights Back.

Gallantmon went off to fight the D-Reaper and he saw Sakuyamon and they both entered a strange energy field. Here Henry used the Red Card to allow them to fight within the D-Reaper with no problems. Jeri meanwhile has finally snapped out of it and wants to be free but the D-Reaper wouldn't allow her to leave. Impmon finally had his own Tamer or Tamers in this case when a purple Digivice appeared in his partners hands. The monster makers finalized their plan to destroy D-Reaper but before they could activate it properly, a large hole appeared at the bottom of the D-Reaper. It was attempting to connect to it's Digital World counterpart(which explains how it was growing so quickly) Gallantmon went after Jeri while the others tried to stop this new part of the D-Reaper with little success for it was too powerful. Grani appeared and since he had little strength left, he gave his wings to Gallantmon and he became Gallantmon: Crimson Mode. Now, Takato and Guilmon had the strength they needed to save Jeri before it was too late.

This was a great first part to the final battle and it good to see Gallantmon become a new form. The only setback to this would be if he had only done this sooner. Of course if he had, there would have no need for Grani. I rate this episode
9/10 as it was just so good, that's all I can say really.

Episode 51: Such Sweet Sorrow.

Now that Gallantmon had become his Crimson mode, he continued his search for Jeri. Ryo suggested that Sakuyamon give him her energy to use in his blade. Rika at first was against this, but fianlly agreed when Ryo admitted that he was doing this to impress her.(typical of him no?) Sakuyamon had her armor removed and she was just all black, apart from her face. The attack was enough, but Agent 1 returned in a new form so Justimon's attack was useless. Janyu and Yamaki told Henry that they had installed the Juggernaut program into Terriermon(that was why his ear felt funny) and MegaGargomon used it to pull the D-Reaper through and revert it back to it's original harmless form. Gallantmon with enough courage was able to defeat Agent 1 and saved Jeri. But they all reverted back to rookies due to the red card's one drawback that Shibumi forgot about. In the end, the D-Reaper was successfully destroyed and things were back to normal....or so it seemed. The Digimon suddenly reverted to their in-training forms and were being pulled back into the Digital World. Janyu explained that they had to go back for they didn't really belong in the real world and he apologized for this. Things then went back to normal and Takato would always remember his promise to a friend.

I rate this episode at least
16/10 for it was the best ending out of all three seasons. The scene with Takato and Jeri was really kawaii, yet it was sad to see the Digimon go like that, and it makes you wish they would do another season of Tamers. The final battle wasn't as long as it should have been and there wasn't really a final enemy, but these were just minor details. All in all, this was a great way to end a great season.
