Interview 3.

Welcome to the next installment of the interviews here at TDD. This week, we are honored to have the King of Games himself, Yugi Moto coming here to be interviewd, although it is really Yami who I have requested to ask questions to.
Davis: *awaits patiently in a chair*

Yugi: *appears in doorway with Millenium Puzzle Symbol glowing behind him* Sorry if I am a little bit late, but I wanted to look my best for this interview.

Davis: Well, you do know that it is Yami who I requested to see.

Yugi: I know, so why do you think I wanted to look my best?

Davis: Good point.

Yugi: Okay Yami, you're now taking over and please be on your best behavior.*Yugi's puzzle glows and Yami appears*

Davis: I love the entrance you always make.

Yami: Thank you, now let us begin this interview.

Davis: Okay. First of all, I hope that you're aware that last week Ganondorf the King of Evil stole a statue of you along with Duel Monster Cards last week at E3 and later stole a monument of your puzzle. How does that affect you?

Yami: Well, at first I was shocked to hear that he had pulled it off, but then I realized that my show is a perfect attractor. He was enticed to become a fan and I guess that's what made him do it.

Davis: That and nearly knocking the thing over when he crashed into it. I guess riding a Blue-Eyes White Dragon isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Yami: Quite right.

Davis: Yami, you have an Egyptian God Card in your deck right?

Yami: You mean Slifer the Sky Dragon?*shows God Card*

Davis: That's the one. Tell me, what makes this card so powerful, besides being the card form of a powerful monster. Also, why are you worried about using it?

Yami: From what I know, this card along with Obelisk the Tormentor and the Winged Dragon of Ra are the key to the situation my friends and I are in at the moment in battle city. Their power is truly immense and no ordinary duelist would be able to stand up to these creatures. As for me being worried, well, Slifer may be too powerful for me to control, yet I have to use it. Marik used Slifer against me and it was perhaps the strongest monster I've ever been up against.

Davis: I know Kaiba has Obelisk. What are your feelings towards that?

Yami: He's so intense over wanting all 3 cards. It's become his main focus in life right now and his arrogance will only cause his downfall.

Davis: And Marik?

Yami: What about him?

Davis: What he has done against you and your friends. I know you want to stop him now more than ever before.

Yami: Yes! Using Joey to defeat Yugi was the last straw for me to take!

Davis: Not to mention what he did to Tea.

Yami: I take it you're a fan as well.

Davis: You bet I am. I have my own deck of cards and I have seen every episode thus far. You might say you've won me over as well, which is quite a hard feat to do. I'll also be honest be honest with you Yami, I do have a crush on Tea....or rather more like a love thing.

Yami: Sounds to me like she has won your heart.

Davis: I suppose so....okay, back to my deck.

Yami: Are you good?

Davis: I did start out bad, but against my friend, I've gone 7-3 tthe last two times I've seen him, mainly because I made a lot of modifications to my deck. My rarest card, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon is the core of my deck along with Wingweaver.

Yami: You have a Blue-Eyes?

Davis: Yes, see for yourself.*shows Yami the card* I keep my deck with me and my rarest cards in this protector. I'll be taking them out if I'm going to be dueling anytime soon. I've learned a lot from you when you duel Yami. To me, you're my mentor, even though we've never actually trained together.

Yami: Care to try?

Davis: You being my mentor?

Yami: Yes....that is what you want isn't it?

Davis: Definately.

Yami: Then take out your decks and rare cards and let's have a duel right now, for fun of course, and I won't use Slifer at all for this. I'll even give you some pointers along the way to help you along.

Davis: Thanks Yami. One last question before our interview ends.

Yami: What's that?

Davis: Do you have any advice for all the duelists out there, old and new?

Yami: I do have one thing to say to them. Trust in the "Heart of the Cards" and trust in yourself and you will succeed.

Davis: Those were just the right words they needed to hear.

Yami: Yes, and now...."It's time to Duel!!!!"
After the Interview: Yami and I had our duel and I did well, dispite losing. He asked me to go with him to Battle City to see Tea and giving me the chance to admit my feelings to her, not only that but getting some serious training. I told Tea my feelings and I continue to train under the guidance of the King of Games.

Up Next: An evil interview is brewing when Marik arrives.
