Hypnos
Hypnos is a top secret organization run by the government in order to track information on the internet. The whole thing was covered up so well, that no one knew it existed and this is the way that they wanted it to be. Their mission was to track down Digimon or "wild ones" as they called them and attempted to destroy them before they came through and biomerged into the real world. Those who got through became the partners to the Tamers while the rest were either deleted byt the Tamers to stop them from coming in, or destroyed by the Yuggoth program by Hypnos. There were some problems though.
- Episode 8: Devidramon actually came through and was seen by many people. Yamaki, the leader of Hypnos told Riley to make a convincing cover story.
- Episode 11: Musyamon was destroyed by Yuggoth, but came back and destroyed the program completely.
- Episode 13: Yamaki activate the Juggernaut, a program designed to destroy all the Digimon who had already come through.
- Episode 14: It backfired when Mihiramon came through causing mass panic.
- Episode 22: After getting help from the Monster Makers, Yamaki attempts to destroy all Digimon once and for all by using Juggernaut at full power.
- Episode 23: This proves to be Hypnos' downfall after Juggernaut exploded not to mention create a tear in the sky that connected to the Digital World itself.
After that incident, the world knew what was going on, and Yamaki was discharged and it was here that he figured it all out. Now he, Riley and Tally worked with the Monster Makers in order to get the Tamers back home, not to mention finding ways to destroy D-Reaper which included the Arc later becoming Grani, the Yuggoth Blaster and a minature version of Juggernaut programmed into Terriermon to destroy D-Reaper for good and return it to it's basic stage.
All in all, Hypnos started out bad, but then worked closely with the Tamers and the rest of the cast to fix the mistake that been made. |
