The Greatest Rock Band Ever
During the time that my friend Mike and I were working on campaign for this guy, Mr. Padilla (both should and will, become honorary guys...) we would walk door to door an give out propaganda.  During these long walks Mike and I debated which rock stars would create the greatest band.  Now many would right away many would say Hendrix is a lock for guitarist.  Wrong.  Jimi's the best,  i know.  Nobody dead or alive compares to him, but we're lookin for guys who would make the greatest Band.  No show-boats please, after all there is no "i" in team or in band.  So whether you agree or disagree here are who Mike and i selected as members of the greatest band of all time.....(We might come up with a keyboardist later on.  Oh yeah, not pictured are the three songwriters i thought of Lennon, McCartney and Bob Dylan.
Indeed he is.
How i wish my hair looked.
Guitarist.... Eric Clapton.  He's the only person in the rock and roll hall of fame elected three times (Cream, Yardbirds, and solo) and for good reason.  He can rock out as heard on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" or just about any Cream song.  But than again so could Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix.  However, Clapton didn't have to rock out.  There isnt a guitar solo on very much of his solo stuff, Eric knows how to share the spot-light.(Honorable mention:The Edge of U2 and George Harisson.)
What?!  A band with  two lead singers?  Yes, Mike an i agreed that Freddie Mercury of Queen(right) was not only a great singer but one hell of a show-man.  And to the left, there was no way I could leave out the heart and soul of the Velvet Underground.  Yes, I'm talkin about Lou Reed, or as I like to call him, the epitome of cool.
I should wear sunglasses indoors too.
True, Ginger Baker and Geezer Butler were amazing bass players, but I dont think anyone else could really create as great a dynamic duo with Animal as could Flea.
When it comes to drummers many think of Bonham or Moon, but not me, Animal is the man! (Or the Animal, i dunno.)  Who else is tough enough to back up Dr. Teeth's Electric Mayhem?  Animal plays hard and partys just as hard.
