The Duke is only one street away from Flinder's Lane,  which is perfect if you are looking to visit some of Melbourne's more popular bar's or night spots.       Only minutes away are Honky Tonks, the Phoenix, The Kitten Club, The Gin Palace and Misty Bar- just to name a few! Then, there is St.Kilda, South Melbourne , SouthYarra and Fizroy's Bar and Club scene to explore.  The tram stops directly out side our door, so it's merely a hop, skip and jump to your next watering hole.          Melbourne is known for its fashion, and when you are merely three strrets from Little Collins street of four from the city's mall where else would you rather stay.  Bridge road is famous for samples and seconds,  South Yarra for its Chapel street and Brunswick street for its bohemian atmosphere, and when all of these are between five  minutes by tram what more could you ask for.

Let's not forget the cultural aspects of  Melbourne's CBD.  There's the Victorian Art's Centre just across the bridge, performance theatres' around the corner, and Federation Square's cinemagraphic and Australian Art Gallery directly opposite us.

What a way to while the afternoon away!  Whether its sitting in a hire boat cruising down the Yarra that excites you,  or being one of the many latte sipping admirers at Southgate, you are only a few steps away.
