Well, by now, most "WARRIORS" must be well on their way to the most
exciting running event in the airline business: The
"World Airline Road Race" (WARR).

Detroit 5 Person Relay Detroit, MI
The
Detroit Marathon Relay is a popular and
exciting relay event !
Previous years have
included several teams from DTW, and one team
each from JKF, MEM and MSP. This year we hope
to add one or two teams from ATL, as well as
other cities.
The race consists of a
5-Person relay team with distances for
each leg ranging from 3.0-6.5 miles. The
course winds through downtown
Detroit, through many historic
neighborhoods, around Belle Isle Park, along the
Detroit Riverfront and the most unique part of
the course is crossing over the
Ambassador Bridge into Windsor, Ontario
where runners will run along the Canadian
riverfront before crossing back through the
Tunnel into Detroit.
The 1 mile tunnel is the only underwater
mile in the world!
This has become a DTW tradition and the DTW
running group welcomes more and more teams every
year.
The race is
October 18th in DTW, but in order to
coordinate/register teams on time, you must
contact your City Captain (below) by
Sept 18th !
