ST. MICHAEL STORY CONT.

I stopped at the sight of this huge hill. My companion put his hand on my right shoulder. I could feel the weight of his hand. He was strong. He pointed toward the hill with his other hand and said "Keep heading in this direction and St. Michael will protect you."  I walked a little further but then I looked both ways to see if there was an easier way around the obstacle. The man said again, more forcibly now, "NO! Keep heading in THIS direction, and St. Michael will protect you!" At him yelling at me, I woke up. It was very early in the morning, still dark outside. I rolled over and asked my husband (who had been raised Catholic) who St. Michael was. He couldn't remember...

I got to work that day and decided to ask around. I found a wealth of information! St. Michael is also known as the Arch Angel, Michael. THAT name, I knew! A few of my Catholic friends were amazed I dreamt such a thing because the reference to "St. Michael" meant nothing to me. I was raised protestant, we don't do Saints. So why did I have this dream???

St. Michael is regarded as the chief of the Arch Angels. He was the conqueror of Satan. His name was the war cry used in the battle for heaven with Satan and his followers. He is called the Prince of Spiritual Warfare. He is the protector of believers. He also protects the sick. (see the link on the previous page, or links page).

When I found out all this, I was literally shocked. I truly believe in my heart that at least at that time, I had been placed in the care of Michael. It gave me great peace to know the mightiest angel was watching over me. It also scared me, because apparently, I had been in great danger, either from the sickness or the attacks in the physical realm by the enemy, or by the curses of my one-time friend.
Something big was going on. My dream was meant to reassure me that everything would be alright, if I just kept on, keeping on, in my same direction; to keep the faith, to continue writing as I had been, just to hang on to God. Things started to turn around very quickly at that point. I got well. My writing went on. The attacks stopped (for the time being), however, the frienship I'd lost was never rekindled. It saddens me, but I keep this person in my prayers, for blessings, healing and reconcilliation.

If you have St. Michael encounters you want to talk about, email me! I believe angel encounters build our faith in this perilous time in our existence. Thanks!

Your friend,
Joy
