Episode 44, The Ice Cold Wielder!!

(School the next day. Recca, Yanagi, Fuko, Domon, Tokiya, Kotohonou and
Tetsugan are walking to their classes after lunch.)
Recca: Now back to the grind I guess. Dang! Why?
Yanagi: Recca-kun, it's ok. School helps us learn and is a great pllace for
us to be.
(All their jaws drop)
Domon: What! Yanagi-chan, you can'r be serious!
(The bell rings)
Tetsugan: Man, we gotta get to class before we're tardy.
Fuko: Hey Recca...did you do your history homework?
Recca: ...no.
Fuko: What's with you Recca. Now I guess you wanna coppy my homework now,
right!?
(Recca grabs Fuko's homework out of her binder)
Recca: Thanks for asking, Fuko-san!
Fuko: RECCA!!!
(She chases him around Domon, Tetsugan and Kotohonou. Then Recca runs past
Tokiya. Tokiya trips Recca and he falls flat on his face and Fuko's homework
is free from Recca's grasp.)
Tokiya: Hanabishi! Don't be so childish! Hanabishi! Fuko-san! Get to
class!
(He picks up Fuko's homework and hands it to her. The 1 minute bell rings.)
Kotohonou: Gotta go! See you guys!
(She runs to her chemistry class and sits down right before the tardy bell
rings.)
Kotohonou: Phew! Gee! I made it in time.
Teacher: Today, class, we have a new student...
Toketsu: My name is Furosuto Toketsu. It's a pleasure.
Teacher: I hope you will all welcome Toketsu.
Kotohonou: (to herself) It's her! It can't be. No way! Can it? It is!
(After school that day)
Kotohonou: Hello! My name is Hidama Kotohonou. You're Toketsu, right?
Toketsu: Yeah, that's right.
(NOTE: Toketsu speaks in a very serious, unboisterous, and depressed voice)
Kotohonou: Can I speak with you?
Toketsu: If you want to. I see nothing wrong with it. I know you saw me
last night. I heard everything you and your friend said.
Kotohonou: (Shocked) You did?
Toketsu: It's not that hard NOT to hear you and your friend. Your friend has
a big mouth.
Kotohonou: But Fuko and I were just whipering that's all.
Toketsu: Oh, whatever. Since I heard you say it I know you saw my weapon.
Kotohonou: Yeah I did. Is it an elemental weapon?
Toketsu: Yes, it is.
Kotohonou: I own 1 as well. Actually I own 3. What can your's do?
Toketsu: (snickering) Well, it seems that you have to figure that out by
yourself.
Kotohonou: Does this mean...you wanna fight me?
Toketsu: Precisely. What do you say...10:00 tonight at my house?
Kotohonou: It's fine by me!
Toketsu: Alright then.
(10:00 Kotohonou walks over to Toketsu's house. The gates leading to her
house are open. Toketsu is sitting on a stone bench with her had on the side
of her face (thumb on jawbone, middle finger right below her left eye, and
index finger on her cheek bone) awating the arrival of Kotohonou. They both
have their hair pulled back. Toketsu is wearing a blue tanktop, black pants
and high black boots/shoes that look a bit like snowboard boots but not as
big and bulky. Kotohonou is wearing a blue tank top, gray pants and
sneakers.)
Toketsu: I knew you'd show up and wouldn't chicken out.
Kotohonou: I wouldn't miss this!
Toketsu: It's been a while, hasnt it? (She blows on a crystal handle) Do you
like my Koorisui? (Holding up a sword with an ice blade) It controls ice, as
you already know.
Kotohonou: Ok! As I've told you, I have 3 elemental weapons; however, I have
decided to only bring 2, my Bokuto, the cut-through-anything wooden sword and
my Shakaku, the fire blade
Toketsu: Hmph!
Kotohonou: What? Gee! Lighten up! (Turning her back on Toketsu)
Toketsu: You know you should never turn your back to an enemy.
Kotohonou: Oh, ho, now! I'm your enemy? (Raising an eyebrow)
Toketsu: For the slaughter of my parents!
Kotohonou: What!!!
(Toketsu charges at Kotohonou with her Koorisui. Kotohonou draws her Bokuto.
Toketsu lunges at Kotohonou and swings her Koorisui. Kotohonou's Bokuto
blocks it. Toketsu jumps away and her Koorisui starts to give off white
waves. She raises the Koorisui up into the air and slices down as icecicles
shoot at Kotohonou. Kotohonou tries to block the attack with her Bokuto but
it shatters in the process.)
Toketsu: Surrender your life now. I fight to the death.
Kotohonou: Not a chance! (She switches weapons and creates a high energy
which egnited the blade of the Shakaku.)
(A chill hit Kotohonou's chin. Toketsu had once again raised the Koorisui
and prepaired to attack! However, this attack wasnt the same as the last
one. This time she shouted Buriza-do and the wind started to blow hard ice
and heavy snow fell from the air. Kotohonou charged at Toketsu stopping her
powerful attack with her Shakaku.)
Kotohonou: You leave me no choice!
Toketsu: Neither do you!
(Toketsu leaped away.)
Kotohonou: What are you doing?
Toketsu: I know what you did! You do too! I will always remember. You were
one of Chaos queen's minnions!
Kotohonou: What in the heck are you talking about! I don't even know who
Chaos Queen is!
Toketsu: The heck you do! You know exactly who Chaos Queen is!
Kotohonou: I'm telling you, I don't know!
Toketsu: You know Chaos Queen killed my family. You were there and you put
in your effort in killing them too! Errrrrr Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kotohonou: I didn;t help kill your family. I beg of you, please believe me.
(Kotohonou put the tip of her sword on the ground and bows her head. Toketsu
leaps up high and comes down ready to slice Kotohonou.)
Kotohonou: Please.
(Toketsu is still coming down ready to slice Kotohonou. The blade of the
Koorisui comes down right next to Kotohonou, missing her. Kotohonou lifts
her head.)
Kotohonou: Why didn't you kill me?
Toketsu: At the last moment I discovered that you are not the murderer of my
family. The real murderer had black hair now that I remember. You look like
one of Chaos Queen's evil minnions. I'm very sorry. Do forgive me.
(Toketsu bows her head and the blade of the Koorisui dissapears. She starts
to walk away.)
Kotohonou: That's ok. Say you're a heck of a fighter! What do you say you
train with me and my friends (Recca, Fuko, Domon, Tokiya, Koganei)? You can
also hand out with us at school if you like.
Toketsu: Thank you. I've never had any real friends after the incident in my
hometown of Hyouden.
Kotohonou: What do you mean?
