The Chaos Queen
By Kaosu
Happy Birthday Kaosu-sama and Kotohonou! IV
They sat down at their table. A waiter came by and spoke something in French. Kurei spoke something else in French and then looked around the table.
"Is that all right with everyone?" Kurei asked.
They all looked at him. "Oh, yeah, yeah, of course, you know best!" Kaosu said not know what she was agreeing to.
Kurei looked at Kotohonou. Kotohonou didn’t want to feel dumb so she also agreed. Tokiya was annoyed. "I don’t speak French." He said.
"I’m sorry, I was just ordering some Champaign." Kurei smiled. "Oh, but you’re under age, do you want a Coke or something?"
Tokiya glared at him.
Kurei smiled and said something to the waiter in French which basically translated to: A bottle of your finest Champaign, but the little one here, he’ll have a Coke.
Kaosu looked at the menu. "Um…Kurei, every thing is in French."
"What do you recommend Kurei?" Kotohonou asked.
"Well, this is good and so is this. Oh and this right here is one of their specialties." Kurei said as he pointed to various items on the menu.
"Maybe you should just order for us?" Kaosu said, getting a little tired memorizing what items Kurei said was ‘good’.
"Ok." Kurei said. He called over a waiter and once again spoke something in French. The waiter smiled and left.
"Show off." Tokiya muttered.
Another waiter came back with a bottle of Champaign and a glass of Coke. On top of the Coke was a small paper umbrella, for decoration.
"Awww…how cute! A little umbrella! Can I have it?" Kotohonou asked.
"Here." Tokiya said as he handed the umbrella. Kurei chuckled to himself as he sipped his drink.
After awhile their food arrived. Kaosu and Kotohonou were starving and immediately took a bite from their plate.
"It’s so good!" they both said as the continued to eat.
"I love French food, very rich stuff!" Kaosu said.
"Remember, Hana-sama, when we were in America." Kotohonou said.
"Oh, yeah, didn’t like it there too much." Kaosu said.
"Why, what happened? Isn’t it the ‘Land of Opportunity’?" Tokiya asked.
"Yes, for those who aren’t burned at the stake." Kaosu said as she took another bite of her food.
"You were burned at the stake?" Kurei asked.
"Yeah. Thought we were witches. How many times?" Kaosu asked Kotohonou.
"Let’s see…2…3…5…we burned five times and I think they drowned us twice."
"I thought they drowned us three times."
"Oh yeah, three."
"This is a very odd conversation." Kurei said.
Halfway through there dinner Kaosu was fidgeting in her chair.
"What’s wrong?" asked Tokiya.
"I don’t like dresses. They feel so weird." Kaosu said as she tried to fix her dress. "Are you sure it’s supposed to be worn like this?"
"You look fine!" Kotohonou said.
"But I think I look like a hook-" realizing where she was she decided to say something different, "…er…I don’t think I look good in a dress, and these shoes I still have trouble walking in them. Poor Kurei, he has to keep on catching me. How many times have I tripped and then having you catch me?" She turned to Kurei.
"Ah…twelve." He said as he smiled at her.
Kotohonou smiled, all things according to ‘the plan’. Red was definitely Kaosu’s color. She looked so beautiful in the dress that she picked out for her, especially with her hair down, for once. She knew that Kaosu never wore heels before and there for have trouble walking, falling right into Kurei’s arms, how romantic.
"Let’s take a walk afterwards!" Kotohonou said, hoping Kaosu would keep falling on Kurei.
"No! Please, no. These shoes are hurting my feet!" Kaosu complained.
"I have to agree, it’s getting late." Tokiya said.
"Fine." Said Kotohonou.
After dinner and after Kurei paid the check. Kaosu got out of her chair. "Ok, come on Kurei, I need you to help hold me up!" Kaosu laughed.
"Ok." Kurei laughed. This had become a game for them, when would she trip, which way would she fall, who knows? "Alright," he said as he got up, "remember, walk on your toes." He held her arm out in front of her.
"Ok, on your toes, on your toes." She said to herself. They walked out to the front of the restaurant.
"Hey, that’s the longest you’ve ever walked in those shoes!" Kurei said, this was all too much fun for him, helping her, the legendary ‘Chaos Queen’, walk in high heels.
"YAY!" she said as she took another step. "Ahhh!" she yelled as she tripped.
"I got cha’!" Kurei said as he held her up. "This is number thirteen."
"You know, you don’t HAVE to count." Kaosu said.
"But this is too much fun!" Kurei smiled and said.
"All things according to, ‘the plan’." Kotohonou mumbled to herself.
"What did you say?" Tokiya asked.
"Uh…I said…" she whispered ‘the plan’ into Tokiya’s ear.
"Those TWO!?" Tokiya exclaimed as he pointed to Kurei and Kaosu. Kaosu tripped once again.
"Fourteen!" Kurei said.
"STOP IT!" Kaosu said.
"Hey, this is my game, and I’m keeping score!" Kurei said.
Kotohonou nodded and Tokiya sighed.
Once they got into the car Kurei drove Tokiya home.
"Good bye my Tokiya!" Kotohonou yelled from the car.
They drove home after that.
"I’m tired!" Kotohonou said as she ran up the stairs and into her room.
"Yeah me too!" Kaosu said. She was about to go up the stairs, but Kurei stopped her.
"Here, take my arm, and we’ll both walk up the stairs. I don’t want you to fall."
"I think I got the hang of it." Kaosu said, "But thanks anyway."
"Uh-uh." He said as he grabbed her arm.
"Listen, I said I can do this myself, so why don’t you just go and….ahhhh!"
"Fifteen!" he said as he held her up.
"Ok, that’s it!" Kaosu said as she took of the shoes, she shrank about an inch. "Oh, I feel so much shorter now."
They both laughed and walked up the stairs.
