Kochi: Sounds a bit like the Stallone film 'Stop or my mom will shoot you!', doesn't it? Well, it is not another film, but it is the present situation in Kochi city now that Lakshmi has enrolled herself in a driving school. Her new found passion has claimed the lives of three cows, four dogs and two cats. Luckily human beings were spared. But according to the Intelligence report, she was experimenting with those animals. So the chances for occurance of human victims cannot be ruled out. Following this incident, President described Kochi as the 'Amusement City of India'. Meanwhile, the city traffic police has ordered all the pedestrians to use helmets.

Edapal: In this corner of the globe, cows also speak. It doesn't mean that if you bring your cow to Edapal, it will start talking the next day. Actually all the cows in Edapal do not have this skill. Only the cows living near the Edapal-Ponnani road possess this skill. Alarmed by this rare phenomenon, a team of scientists from Delhi came to Edapal and investigated the matter. They cracked the case very much earlier than they expected. It took them just three days. It was Prasanth Sankar's work. He had the habit of sleep-walking and he usually walked to cattle sheds and spent the whole night with the cows. He also had the habit of sleep-talking. During his one night stands in the different cattle sheds near the Edapal-Ponnani road, the poor cows were forced to hear all that he spoke. Even though rubbish, the cows were eager to understand what this guy was going on speaking. It was this anxiety that inspired the cows to learn Malayalam. The team's report says that Mr. Prasanth Sankar is able to teach a cow Malayalam in two days. Maybe Kerala is 101% literate and maybe, with a little bit more help from Prasanth, Kerala can attain 200% literacy.
