All The Other Crap You Didn't Know About Us!
Under an umbrella of punk, New Wave, chenille, and down-and-dirty rock and roll, the F-Bombs are a Cleveland-based quintet, made up of Aryn "Iso" (lead vocals) Kate Astrophy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) Nate Nieding (lead guitar) Chris Youngless (left-handed bass) and Barrett Close (drums) have hijacked the spirit of modern music.

Long-time friends Aryn "Iso" and Kate Astrophy have always shared a common tast in music, philosophy, uber-chic fashion and men.  It wasn't long before the two were collaborating on song lyrics and developing vocals melodies.  Both had been members of other bands, none of which had fully satisfied their creative desires.  Deciding that they had deprived the masses of thier vision long enough, Iso and Astrophy soon recuited Nate Neiding to help bring their musical dreams to fruition.  The women had known Neiding for several years and had a reputation as teh guitarist for the former grindcore and metal bands Hatemail and Choice.

Working at a frenetic pace over the course of two cold days in January 2003, Iso, Astrophy, Neiding (doubling on bass) and original drummer Jay Youngless wrote and recorded a 13-song demo.  Boasting song titles like "The Clothes That Make The Man," "Suburbanite Crime Wave," "Throbbing," "I Hope I Get A Robot Maid For Christmas" and "Sell Out" an music that is at once gritty, melodic, and down-right fun, ti quicly became apparent to anyone who was fortunate enough to get a listen that the F-Bombs are the real thing.  The songs that make up the self-titled demo are highlighted by Iso's and Astrophy's aggressive, dueling vocals, Neiding's Slashing, energtic fretwork, and lyrics that are at time angst-ridden, sometime plaintive,, and othertimes humorous, often personal and always universal.

Shortly after finishing the demo, long-time associate Chris Youngless joined the band to fill the bass position. The addition was natural fit as Youngless co-produced the demo and has shared teh stage with Nieding in both Hatemail and Choice.  Quickly signed to Swinging Arms Productions, Rocky River, OH a webstie was established to drop the F-bombs on the entire world.  And the world responded.  Soon offers were coming in from other bands to share the stage and split recording and radio shows from aw far away as France and Australia.

As is common in the world of high-fashion rock and roll, bands undergo change and the F-Bombs are no different.  Shortly after the recording of the demo, Jay Youngless quietly exited the group.  The search was on for a new drummer, a hut that lasted nearly six months.  Enter Barret Close.  He is the living portrait of a true rock star, the F-Bombs brought the Close on board right away and the lin-up that would soon tear down clubs across the greate Cleveland area was complete.

After months of intense rehearsals, the F-Bombs made their triumphant onstage deut in November 2003.  Never to be accused of going through the motions, the F-Bombs live performances are a testament to the power and once-in-a-lifetime chemistry of a band that finds itself in desperat times for rock and roll.  Those present at the
F-Bombs' inaugural were witness to the coming dawn of a new era.  and era marking the return of rock and roll.

The era of the F-bombs!
