I totally don't want to get a job
By Kristi Jacobson
Hey sisters of Alpha Kappi Phi, what's up?  And hey to all of the rest of you like, not in a soroity or something.

So we were at our formal last weekend and I got totally drunk.  And so did Kenny, my boyfriend.  It was way
cool.  Like the place we were at had these really cool fountain things.  I will like always remember it.  It was like prom all over again.

But at the end of the night, Kenny was really drunk.  So I was helping him in his house and he like puked all over my new dress.  I was totally bummed.

So the next day, I had to take my dress to the dry cleaners because there's no way I'm going to leave a stain like that on my dress.  And so I paid for it with my credit card and they rejected it.

I was like "no way."  And then lady was like "way."  And I couldn't believe it.  So I went home and was like, "Mom, my credit card is broken."  And she was all, "no hunny, we just didn't pay your bill yet."

So I was totally mad.  Why wouldn't they pay my bill?  So my mom was like, "Your father and I talked about it and we want you to get a job."  I was waiting for her to say "not" cause she's corney like that, but she never did.

So my parents were like, "we're not paying for your stuff anymore."  I was so totally peeved.  There is no way I'm working at a fast food joint.  I mean the only type of place I would work is like Neumann Marcus or like Saks.

I don't even want to even work there, because all that ever goes there are like these stuck up bitches.  So like, I don't know what to do.  All I know is that I totally don't want to get a job.

My parents like don't understand the stresses I go through.  Like in high school it was easy to be popular, but I'm a college freshman, and that's a lot to deal with.  My classes are like really hard.  I got a 78 on my first Psyc. exam.

I tried to suck up to the professor to get a better grade, but he was like no way.  I couldn't believe it.  It's like I have to study or something now.  And my parents want me to get a job?

They'll cave.  I know they will.  They already said that I can wait until the summer to get one, so they way I see it, I have another month and a half of spending left.  Which means I have to get going.

See ya all at the mall!  :) XOXOXO
