Donateh is the largest country on the main continent of Gaia. Donateh is made of various towns and cities, the capital being that of Lanisor. It is based off of Europe, mostly. |
The kingdom of Lanisor is like that of England. The king of Lanisor is very good to his people and doting to his daughter, Cainwen; constantly worrying over the state of her mind and who she should marry. He has plans of asking the Count of Kahless to marry his daughter soon. Lanisor is small compared to the spreading lands of the other townships and cities. |
The hamlet of Grunwald is hidden deep in the forest at the Southern boarder of Donateh. It is dark and hard to navigate, filled with a wide range of dangerous creatures in the past. The people of Grunwald, having the problem of the dangerous creatures in the area at the time developed their fighting skills and their battle skills in order to compete in the harsh environment as well as the neighboring hamlet of Theolen. In Grunwald, the women are taught not to touch their men in public too much, though the reason has long been forgotten. The reason being that of protecting the women from being used in a hostage situation, finding the weakness of a man through the use of his woman. The hamlet of Grunwald is home to Erna, her father Thorn being the Duke of Grunwald. The Duke's Chain of office is that of a firelion, it's mouth closed, but eyes gleaming. The Firelion can be seen on the roof of the main hall of the Duke. Grunwald is based off of the Vikings, the Celts and Gauls. Grunwald is German meaning Greenworld, hence the forest. |
Theolen is the neighboring hamlet to Grunwald, though it doesn't share quite as friendly an atmosphere as that of Grunwald. It encompasses the safer portion of the forest and a good bit of swampland, sitting on the East coastline of Donateh a bit like a vulture waiting for something to die. |
Kahless is the largest city in Donateh, because it holds all of the Blueridge Mountains. The people build their homes in the moutain sides, the city of Kahless being a castle made from the side of the mountains. The protective walls are hard to penetrate and thus Kahless is left alone, being too hard to get through. To get to Drasil, one has to go through the passages of the Blueridge mountains, and best to ask for a guide from Kahless to do so than to do it alone. Idris, Rurik, Telis and Bron are native to Kahless, however, only Rurik runs Kahless, being the old Count's successor. The Count's chain of office is that of a strange bird that could either be a phoenix or thunderbird. |
