13th February 1999 HUDDERSFIELD Town - DERBY COUNTY The second half of this FA Cup match was the scene of some of the worst trouble seen at a Huddersfield match. Trouble broke out after Derby took a 2-1 lead when Police entered part of the stand occupied by Huddersfield's mob, the HYC, to eject some supporters. The fans then turned on the police as the police drew there batons, a number of arrests were made and a number of police were injured during the trouble, 1 quite badly. Huddersfield's mob was boosted for the day by the presence of 8 Aberdeen lads.
