So what happened to Mercy after all these years? Well he hung up his wresting boots and ditched his famous mask. Mercy quit wrestling and so did the New World Federation where Mercy made a name for himself. With no wrestling career, Mercy had rested for 3 - 4 years until he recieved a phone call from a old friend telling Mercy he must return to the ring but this time at Criminal Minds Federation. And also, in an unexpected move .. Mercy packed his things and he sent out two warnings before appearing in last week Backlash show. It was only a matter of time before Mercy would return but Mercy has come back stronger and he come back with a whole new attire and still not showing his face for unknown reasons. Mercy had a successful career at nWf winning many titles including helping nWf win an invasion against ICW. The man is back and he is much bigger and stronger than ever before .. the beast is unleashed.

The scenes open up in a dark cold room and lights are flashing in the distance where you can see Mercy sat in a old battered chair watching his match. Mercy picks up the control and he keeps rewinding the some parts of the match and the camera locks onto the television where Sean Fuller rolls out of the ring, tending to his injuries. Darkfire and Mercy battle across the ring, exchanging right hands. Sean Fuller grabs a steel chair. Sean climbs into the ring taking out the referee from behind with the steel chair. Sean levels Darkfire with the chair then takes it right into Mercy's stomach. Sean brings the chair up and lashes it across his back. Mercy leans back, not leaving his feet, but showing that he is in pain. Sean sends himself off the ropes for some momentum. Sean raises the chair high above his head, aiming for Mercy's head. Mercy catches Sean by the throat. Mercy delivers a choke slam to Sean Fuller in the middle of the ring. Brandon Wilson hits the ring while the referee is still down. Brandon picks up Sean's steel chair as Mercy slowly turns around. Brandon wails on Mercy with the steel chair, several times. Mercy seems unharmed by each of the steel chair shots. Soon though out of nowhere Brandon delivers the "Joker's Wild" leaving Mercy out cold in the middle of the ring. Mercy landed hard on the steel chair. Sean crawls into the cover as Brandon revives the referee, seeing the perfect revenge unfolding before his very eyes, a smile being brought to his face. Brandon dives out of the ring so the referee does not see him. Mercy just stares at the television screen and bursts up in anger and kicks over the television. Mercy looks down at the television and throws the control on it, Mercy then moves towards a table where he picks up the United States Championship in which he took out Sean Fuller a little while ago and took it from him. Mercy puts it over his shoulder and starts to speak.
You Will Beg For Mercy: Is this what you want Sean?, is this what you want your hands on?, is this what your dying to get your hands on? .. your going to have to get through me once more before you can EVER touch this belt do you understand me? No more games Sean, I watched the tape over and over again and I was screwed and I don't like being messed about. You may off won the match at Night Of Champions but you did not win the prize, thanks to a man who has brains in this company .. Jason Beausoleil saw that I got screwed by that son of a bitch Branden Wilson who I havent forgotten, Jason decided it was right to put me up against u one on one for the US Championship. Think you can beat me fair and square?, well its time to prove it on Backlash.
Mercy looks at the United States Championship and moves it back to the table and begins to speak.
You Will Beg For Mercy: I was going through the Night Of Champions tape and I looked back at my match time and time again and I feel so sorry for Branden Wilson, because not only has his plan backfired on him, but because he has decided to dig himself a bigger hole now he messed with me. Branden Wilson, what made you even think about screwing with me god damnit .. didn't you learn from your last lesson? I destroyed you and I made you lie in a hospital bed struggling to breathe and you decided you wanted more? all I can say Branden is that you need to be more wise and more smarter to even mess with me .. once I take Sean Fuller down. Your Next.
Mercy slaps on the table and takes a long hard look athe United States Champion and he picks it up and shoves it infront of the camera and begins to talk.
You Will Beg For Mercy: The only time your going to be seeing this title Sean, is when I bash it straight to your skull and I will do it time and time again till you can't take it anymore. You made me mad and when I get mad .. everybody including your precious little slapper of a girlfriend Gail Kim will even feel the wrath of Mercy now you and Branden has fu*k with me. This title is going to stay with me and you aint got a chance in hell of retaining it, I hope you enjoyed cuddling with it as long as you could because it is the last time you will EVER get your hands on it again.
Mercy places the title back over his shoulder and starts to talk again.
You Will Beg For Mercy: So talking about our match, Jason Beausoleil put us one on one in a steel cage match for this United States Championship. I hope your use to steal because I am going to grab your skull and I am going to make sure you eat the steel and you'll be spitting blood and teeth at the end of the match. You may have been lucky once but the second time you wont be as lucky because now its time to play in my playground and the steel cage match is my territory and I am going inflict pain on your body that you wont be able to cope with. I hope you & Branden Wilson know what you two have done .. you two have just got yourselfs into a hole which you will not get out off. God May Have Mercy On You .. I Will Not.
