This is a Studio. Not a Gallery. These figurines have all been cast in bronze.  Once they are done, they are done...  and will collect dust for thousands of years. I find the 'works in progress' much more interesting. So this page is dedicated to the changes they go through.

I make the originals from sheets of wax. This is an extremely slow medium to work with, but I like it. It stays where I put it. However, I think that I'm going to switch to clay to do some bigger pieces in the future.

Lately, I have been busy playing with graphics & design. So sculpting has had to take the back burner. These new toys have captured my attention & have been some fun.

I am often asked if these are for sale. No. I don't have time to produce them, so I surely don't have time to reproduce them. Besides, we learn from our mistakes. And there are lots of mistakes. Getting better, though. I am pretty satisfied with how Becky turned out. But like I say after every one I've done... WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE NEXT ONE!

It might be a face. It might be a pose. I have no desire to erect monuments to politicians or war heros. I would rather pay tributes to grace & elegance, and try to catch a bit of personality. I guess that a woman with style will inspire me the most.
