I was first read the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien by my dad when I was when about 8 and I have been in love with it ever since. It is in my opinion one of the best books ever written. It seems that others agree, it has been voted Book of the Century more than once. And of course it has recently gained even more fame through Peter Jackson's film adaption.
