Sailor Moon CCG Deck Designs

Special Feature: SM:CCG Deck Construction
Introduction Welcome to Mr. D's course on how basic guidelines you want to follow when building a casual or tournament deck. Enjoy.Starting Off Whenever you want to start off a deck you need to have a basic idea of what your going to be building. Before you start sifting through cards be sure to think of these elements: What power type(s) are you going to use? Are you using one scout/knight and power her/him up or are you going to use multiple scouts and combined attacks? Which scout will be your starting scout? Once you have this planned out half the job is done. You always want to know what kind of deck and strategy you re going to make before you start building. The rest is a peice of cake. Just be sure not to pay attention to rarity of cards or you'll steer off track. I know when I first started playing CCG's I didn't make the greatest decks because I would sometimes but it in a rare when the common was more effective. One more thing to remember is to make sure your energy is going to be there when you need it. When using multiple power types be sure you'll be able to draw it when you need it so I'd suggest to limit your types of power to two. Meaning know more then two different types of energy and the total amount of energy should be very close to half your deck. Another very important thing is that you must be sure to check is that your energy is compatible with the monster/villians your using. After all they might have have the best abilites in the world but they're no good if you don't have the energy for them. The last thing you have to remember is to try to keep your deck small...preferably around 60 cards if not exactly. Good luck with your deck building and have fun playing!! Look for my next article on how to make a great card game and keep it's sucess going!! All of the companies that are on this site could use that one!! Lol j/k have a good one guys and gals.
