Layout: Season Three Objective: In the middle of the room, on either side of the door, there are two rows of markers. Each of the markers on either side of the door correspond with each other. Some of the markers in the room are missing. The contestant must take find the missing markers, which are located along the wall, and line them up with their corresponding marker. Once all the corresponding markers match-up, then a door will open. Artifact Appearance(s): The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror The Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanupec The Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein The Marble Armrest of Xerxes The Lost Whale Bone of Pytheas The Golden Spiderweb of Rober the Bruce Opinion: This room was one of the most time-consuming rooms of the third season. The Chamber, however, was a big improvement over the pass "center of the temple" rooms. I don't blame contestants for having a hard time with this room because it was confusing. The markers actually blended in with this room. This room gets my vote for the best design out of all the rooms. The best part is when there is a temple guard behind the slide up door leading to the King's Storeroom! TRIVIA!: -- The only artifact retrieved from this room was the Mussel Shell Armor of Apanupec. -- Katie from the Lily-Crested Crown of Clovis the I was the contestant who had the most trouble with this room. * Credit goes to the Ancient Warrior for pointing out an artifact I missed. All changes are indicated in bold. |
