The Room of the Golden Idols
* Credit goes to nicklegends at the King's Storeroom for this picture!
Layout: Season Two Layouts 4-5; Season Three

Objective: There were three paintings in the room. A contestant that enters this room must align themselves with one of the paintings. Each of the paintings have different stances and three actuators that must be hit. If the contestant aligns themself with the correct painting then a door will open up (for Season 2 only) or to one of the two doors to the right.

Artifact Appearance(s):
The Bonnet of Dolly Madison
The Dried-Ear Corn of Sojourner Truth
The Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
The Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean

Opinion: This room was a big improvement over the last rooms that occupied this room space. The Jester's Court was an average room. The room required a contestant to complete an objective that was unique and original. The downside of this room however is that the alignment gets tedious for contestants. Some contestants have wasted thirty plus seconds in this room. A contestant being short will have a very hard time in this room especially. This room also has a luck factor because some contestants can get the right painting on the first time while others have to struggle to find the right painting.

TRIVIA!:
-- The only artifact that was retrieved from this room was the Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain.
-- No temple guard was ever featured in this room.
-- One episodes with a production error in this room would be the Good-Luck Watch of Empress of Eugenie.
