The following day we fueled in Port Hardy and ran to Vancouver in record time of 71/2 hours on a single fill up of fuel, ending the Tyee Tour on August 23rd.

| On the homeward leg veteran Tyee Tourist Lee Uhrich and friend Harry Mueller connected with me in Bella Bella. Over the next few days we made our way toward Hakai Pass again, where a productive morning was spent at the “Chicken Coop”. We boated these 15 – 22 lb Halibut and a couple of other colorful bottom dwellers. | ||||||||||||||||||||
