Ned Kelly Hearing in an advertisement that plowshares were so strong as to deflect bullets, this outlaw had stolen enough plowshares to make suits of armor for his gang. These suits of armor covered the whole body, from the knee to the head. His gang made his last stand in Glenrowan, Victoria, in 1880, wearing these suits. The police shot him in the lower legs and he was captured and hanged on the 11th of November 1880, six days before the judge that sentenced him to death. |
