MARK "ROMEO" TOMALTY

By far the most handsome member of The Hype, Romeo is kept hidden behind a set of drums during our concerts in order to maintain calm during the songs. Suffice it to say that when we are rehearsing, it's all we can do to stop hordes of harpy-like teeny-boppers from charging the stage and taking off with our drummer for good. Who knows where they'd take him!! It'd be far away, that's all we know. And we'd probably lose our beat in the middle of the show and have to give a whole bunch of money back to the organizer of the concert who would then spread the word around town never to hire us again and we'd be forced to live in a plastic tupperware container for the rest of our lives while working at a run down Burger Baron which no one ever visits except for an overweight customer named Bubba who likes to order Bacon Mushroom Burgers, "hold the bacon and mushroom", and then he'd laugh and laugh everytime and we'd just keep saying, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home... click, click, click."

Sorry, what was I saying? Oh yes, of course! Romeo, our fantastic drummer and supermodel has been influenced by, among others, the phenomenal drumming of the late John Bonham, of Led Zeppelin fame, as well as the music of U2 and the Beatles. Often during practice, Romeo will throw in a double-kick on the bass drum, to the surprise and delight of all who hear.

Romeo is currently in high school. He does have a nickname but not a symbol -- yet. (He doesn't have any symbols except for the ones he hits during the concert -- that last sentence is only funny if you are reading it aloud and aren't as thick as a tube of margarine. Cymbal / Symbol... I can't believe I had to explain that!)
