Damon-Matthew L. McIntosh was born 20 years ago in Vereenings, South Africa. His music career started early as he and his family quickly moved to the United States. He began playing the guitar at the age of five in his new home, Charlottsville, Virginia. His native South African haritage and his knowing of the injustises around him made his music much of it's own. At the age of seven he and his family move to New York City. were they lived on Staten Island. After nine short months he moved with some family members to the East Village. It was there where he picked up the open minded "Eat, Drink and be Merry, for tomarrow we die" sound known as The Incandescent Band. It was'nt until 1996 when he went back with his parents to live in a small town in Ohio. ( where the still remain to operate.) Since the break up Damon has been working with cars and has very seldom picked up a guitar but still chirshes what he has done |
