Flooding Northeast Ideal Climate for Alligators, Water "Loss of land could result in a tumultuous battle over water...Kevin Costner style." By: Natasha Marx |
||||||||
After nine days of constant rainfall, the Northeast is now experiencing devestating flooding. This unfortunate turn of events seemed like it couldn't get any worse, but it seems that it has. According to some officials, this flood water not only carries raw sewage, harmful objects, and the unsuspecting goat or two, it also is a veritable breeding ground for alligators, crocodiles, and large turtles whose existance is attributed to the manufacturing and sloppy disposal of bright green toxic waste buried somewhere in Manhattan. "You can imagine our excitement, especially when we realized that these alligators might draw people like the Crocodile Hunter fella." said a local Sally Hotchkiss, a 9th grade drama queen and local Yoga instructor at Hillimar Heights in Soosutton, Maine. Yes, the Crocodile Hunter fella has gotten wind of the sudden over population of this wild and vicious species and plans to stop by the place as soon as he is cleared by customs. Unfortunately, the Crocodile Hunter fella isn't the only one whose attention has been grabbed by this serious turn of events. Enter: Malcolm Giness. Malcolm Giness is a man with an insatiable desire to be maimed nearly to death by an alligator, crocodile, or a large turtle whose existance is attributed to the manufacturing and sloppy disposal of bright green toxic waste buried somewhere in Manhattan. Local authorities, who aren't running, swimming, or fleeing for their lives, have tried to keep Giness at bay, but their attention is inevitably averted and Giness manages to slip by only to be caught just in the nick of time. This pattern has baffled and confused most officials and has sparked a national debate as to whether or not such desperate acts of attention due to the inability to cope with one's own horrible, miserable, and down-right nasty childhood is condoned by the Constitution of the United States, or if he should just be "thrown to the lions." "The only downside to just tossing him in the water is that his wish is to be maimed nearly to death by an alligator, crocodile, or a large turtle whose existance is attributed to the manufacturing and sloppy disposal of bright green toxic waste buried somehwere in Manhattan, and honestly, once he's in there, there's really no telling if we would ever get him out again. The legal ramifications that follow could be disasterous, and that's not good at all." said Chief "Turtle" Snuff of the Local Firehouse 242. Yet, despite everyone's concern, it is just a matter of time before Mr. Giness finds his way to the ever increasing water supply, and the end of this article. Natasha Marx is just too tired to really care, Mark. Why don't you go peddle your papers elsewhere!! |
