			(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- 20 people across the nation today were shocked to discover that Kim Gordon (with a soft G, thus making it Kim "Jhhhjjjordan"), bassist for New York City's celebrated Sonic Youth, and Kim Deal, of the Boston-based outfit The Pixies, are actually one and the same. In a surprising twist, the Kim Deal of the Breeders, long assumed to be the Kim Deal of the Pixies, is not that Kim Deal, nor is she Kim Gordon, nor is her name Kim at all. Her name is Nancy Hanks, and she is rumored to be the mother of a president. Mrs. Hanks denied an interview request. "I had a sneaking suspicion--but I could never put my finger on it," said a college student wearing a ferret.  The news was revealed to the world late Thursday evening.  "Apparently, the two Kims can, along with Joey Santiago and Dinosaur Jr.'s J. Mascis, transform themselves into a Voltron-like War Machine with destructive capabilities," said John C. Reilly, a concerned citizine who played a police officer in the movie Magnolia, featuring the music of Aimee Mann, wife of singer-songwriter Michael Penn, brother of actor Sean Penn, who I don't like.
