So many sounds like NERGNN the incubator is alright, etc. One day god woke up and the pre-Zaireeka Flaming Lips walked up to the post-Zaireeka Flaming Lips and said, we sound nothing like you and it was true so true.

In all honesty, this album makes me wish that electronic drums sounded cool. For some reason the Flaming Lips do an outrageous amount of electronika in their entire musical onslaught. And an onslaught is just what it is! They go off on these wild tangents, slaying anyone who dares lend an ear! GOD! I HATE THE BRITISH!

SO GOOD! IT'S SO GOOD! IT'S THE BEST ONE! YOU'LL NEVER LISTEN TO IT BUT THAT MAKES IT ALL THE MORE OF A SPECIAL EVENT WHEN YOU DO.

So the Soft Bulletin was graduated from high school since the last album came out--that's a long time, to graduate from high school, thing of all the good times it had and all the people it met after you weren't around anymore... Hey, what did the Lips DO those four years? Four years is a long time. This is a great album, maybe their best after Jarikesa, but I'm not sure if I would want to go through high school for four years again just to hear it.

Don't buy this, it sucks. Don't be tempted because it's cheap! It still sucks. Bad Lips. Neat for covering Beck and Radiohead, bad for sucking. Are they really that bad live? That live Beck song is crap.
Once you get past all these tapes and naked women spectaculars I keep hearing about, the music doesn't seem to be very good. On the basis of ONE song, I proclaim the Flaming Lips' every concert to be a disaster. Go see Cat Power if you want some real live music!

Just go look at my review for Transmissions because it sounds just the same, all noisy distorted crap that is nice but many many a time you're just not into it. HOWEVER one time I was being driven somewhere in the very early morning and Transmissions sounded excellent then. If you have to go somewhere in the very early morning, listen to this album and the other one, which are the same old noisy albums, probably, they just named the songs different and had different packaging and they'd figured nobody would notice because the only possible excuse for enjoying these two albums is doing drugs or being too tired to notice.
