A week had passed. Hamilton was finally ready to go home. Most importantly, he had Jake at his side.

Will, Scout and Bella had gone back to school after two days, mostly because, as the Dean had pointed out, "Their education was too important to miss out on." Jake and Hamilton had spent lots of quiet time together, just talking and planning on how they'd spend their time together, now that it was secure. Of course, they'd spent plenty of time making out too.

Monica had come by and had a long talk with the Dean. They had settled all of the small matters of switching to Rawley girls. She was having all of Jake's stuff shipped back to Rawley. However, this time, it was all Jake's 'Jacqueline' stuff. Her mother had taken the liberty of sending her personal shopper out into the busy streets of Manhattan to find Jake the perfect wardrobe.

Now, Jake was holding all of Ham's balloons and flowers and everything else he'd gotten over the past week and a half. His father was helping him walk on his crutches.  'He's so cute! He's trying so hard! Oh god, I love him.' Jake told herself, watching him struggled to make it to the taxi that was waiting to bring them to the airport.

Soon, they were on the small jet back to New Rawley. Jake had changed into a short little dress to ensure that there was no doubt of her femininity when she came back to Rawley.

As the plane began to land, Jake starting seeing some familiar places. Her excitement got hold of her. "I can't believe I'm actually back here. It feels so great to be here, with you." she leaned over and said into Hamilton's ear.

He turned his head and rubbed his nose on her cheek. "Things are going to be so perfect, Jake, like it used to be, only now you can always be your foxy little self." Jake started giggling.

Hamilton's parents looked over at them. They were so young and so happy. "I can't believe our son has found his soul mate, Steve. He's still my little baby." Kate said to him.

"I know. But I think we have to share him now. She's a beautiful girl, I can't believe we couldn't see it."

Kate leaned her head on her husband's shoulder. "I'm just glad he's okay. Sharing him seems like nothing now."

"Yeah, we've been through a lot in the past few weeks, Kate. I love you."

   "I love you too."

The captain's voice was heard over the intercom. "Fasten your seatbelts, please, we're coming in for the landing." he said casually.

Scout pulled up on his bike outside the gas station. He ran over to Bella and kissed her. "I don't care Bella, I need you."

Bella, who was surprised and happy said, "Good, cause I need you too."

"It's just, you know, after the whole thing with Ham, I realized, life's too short to wait and see how things turn out. We have to go with our heart, throw caution to the wind."

Bella shut him up by kissing him. "Thank god you said that." she replied.

Just then, Will pulled up on his bike too. "Hey guys, sorry if I'm interrupting."

"What's up, Willie Krudski?" Bella asked him childishly.

"I was just at home, eating breakfast with my Mom and Dad."

   "Your Dad?" Scout asked surprised.

Will smiled. "Well, he still kinda resents me for getting that money and everything but I think he tries to focus more on gaining pride for me now."

"Score!" Scout shouted. They started to walk over to the flagpole. "Everything is finally falling into place. It's been a hard year for all of us."

"Scout, we should leave the thoughtful stuff to Krudski, he's way better at it." Bella teased. Scout smacked her playfully.

They sat there by the flag laughing and teasing each other, Scout occasionally kissing Bella on the cheek.

Jake was now helping Hamilton from his house to the dorms. He wanted her to be there with him when he made his 'Grand Entrance'. Hamilton wanted the entire school to know that Jake was his GIRLfriend...and is pride wanted to show her off. Every step he took, she took with him until he finally made it to the building. They walked into the common room together.

Hamilton cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. "I'm back, everyone!" he said. All the guys jumped up and started cheering and making noise. Hamilton then announced, "Everyone, this is Jake, my girlfriend."

Everyone's mouth fell to the floor. "So you're not…" one boy said.

   "Nope!"

Jake just stood there, embarrassed. "Hey guys" she said in her more girly voice. She slumped down onto the couch. "What, just because you know I'm a girl doesn’t mean I'm going to let you kick my ass. I'm still KING of playstation!"  They all started cracking up. Hamilton gave her a kiss on the cheek, feeling so happy to be freely kissing the person he loved most.

                     .             .            .

Things were so perfect now. Jake was settled into Rawley girls. Every night she'd go over to the Flemming's to chat with his parents (they really wanted to get to know her) or to hang out with Hamilton. She hung out with Bella and the guys every weekend.

Spring was coming around and Hamilton would be off his crutches in about two weeks. Class was class, annoying as always but Jake was happy to be in class at Rawley, especially enjoying Finn's co-ed classes. She even talked to her mother about once a week now.

One Sunday morning, Jake and Hamilton were taking a walk along the outskirts of campus. He stopped. "You're so beautiful, Jake."

Jake blushed a little. "Thank you, Munchie, you know you're a hottie too."

"I'm serious, every time I look into your eyes, I just love you even more. I can't imagine my life without you."

"I love you Hamilton. Lots." she said.

Just then, Hamilton tripped a little. He had been getting really good on his crutches but apparently, not good enough for the rocky, woody paths of Rawley. Jake helped him regain his balance. Now, holding on to her, he caught her off guard. "Marry me someday, Jake."

Her world froze. They weren't even seventeen but Jake had never been so sure of anything else in the world. She never wanted to live without Hamilton by her side, holding her.

"Someday, not in too long though." she said with tears in her eyes.

Hamilton threw his arms around her and pulled her in for the most powerful kiss he could muster up. He wanted her to know how she made him feel, how everything was perfect with her by his side. She was his world, his everything and now, he knew he'd always have her. With those few words, they had promised themselves to each other.

Finally, when they came up for air Jake said. "Everything is perfect, Ham, we did it."
