1. When is your next show? Why don’t you play live more?

The simplest reason is lack of time due to other priorities right now. We have all played non-stop in bands since we were little kiddies & it was great, but this band was originally formed as a project band to record our own home demos. It was a nice change of pace to slow things down band wise in order to enjoy the other good things in life. I assume in the future we will get back to playing much more live. It is an itch you can’t stop forever.

  1. Why did the Janet Theory break up?

I can assure you everyone has a slightly different answer. In general, It was not really a break up. Two years had passed since the last CD & we had no finished new songs as a collective group, so it was time to move on. We had gone as far as we could go.. We have all played together at different times & we will all play together in the future in one form or another. We all love to play & write music, as our tastes change, certain members will come & go. Although we are all best friends, we like to keep things fresh too. Dave & Mat started a metal/pop band called ‘Sounds of Static’ & get to release their creative ideas in something they also like to do. I miss the Janet Theory myself. That was a friggin party band by all means.

  1. I saw you  play when you were Foster Child, Do you play any of those songs?
That is very cool. Jesse, Shawn & Chuck were the 3 guys who started Foster Child in grade 9 & somehow ended back together again light years later in Janet Theory & DGU..      Yes, we do play the song ‘Kevin’ & it is also nice to see you out at the shows & extra special to know you were one of the friends who shared the scene with us before we were old enough to drink.

We do have a big collection of songs we can pull out of the bag from previous CD's, so we try to add one every show.
