picture of Encarta cover The first review we'll start off with is Microsoft Encarta, a favorite for a few years. Microsoft's newest addition to the Encarta series unveils a cornucopia of information compiled by two Harvard professors. It explores black history and culture, from Africa to North America, and includes over 3,600 articles, 2,900 media elements and 800 Web links.

Delve into the world of black history and culture with dynamic music shorts contributed by Quincy Jones. Jump into the universe of civil rights led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his I Have a Dream speech. Listen to Dr. King dream with millions of followers as he takes his case to the American majority in the 1960s.

sI highly recommend this software package to anyone involved in education. To the teachers, get it and take your kids on an interactive field trip to the Serengeti. To you learners, compile your student papers like: African topography and slave trading.
