General of the Crimson Lance
This person has full discretion and authority over his division. It is his duty to command the division and to guide the evolution of its members. In war, he organizes the attacks on the enemy and advises the Commander in issues relating to battle. In peace, it is the General who sets up training sessions for his division in order to keep his soldiers in top condition, ready for any enemy assault on Kenyon or her people. He directly reports to the Commander, recommends any soldiers for promotion, reports any intelligence recovered that may aid in the defense of the kingdom of Kenyon, voices the concerns of the division, and acts as a liason to the Commander for all of the troops under his command.
Captain of the Crimson Lance
This person serves directly under the General. He acts as a liason between the General and the Warriors and Lancebearers, and also aids the General in leading and training the division. The Captain is the right-hand man of the General, and is relied on for his loyalty, excellence, and strength of character. His conduct should be the example for the conduct of the Warriors.
Warrior of the Crimson Lance
These men and women are the mainstay soldiers of the division, and make up the main body of the Lance. These Warriors are the front line of attack in battle. In peace, the Lance may supplement the policing duties of the Shield if necessary. A Warrior should always be watching after the interests of Kenyon and her people. Any information he learns that suggests a threat to his sworn home should be told promptly and directly to his Captain or General. Their duties also include honing their own skills to better serve their kingdom when they are called into battle, as well as helping the Lancebearers learn the way of the division.
Lancebearer of the Crimson Lance
These are the newest members of the division, the ones yet untried. Their duties include learning the systems of the Lance and the skills of their division. The new recruits do not achieve the position of Warrior until they have
shown their loyalty, honor, and fidelity, as well as the ability to serve as full fledged soldiers.
