Welcome to the Burke Family Website. After taking a brief “How-to” course on web design, I think I’m ready to bring my family’s past to life. I have been passionate about my family tree ever since I was a boy, and I would like to share that passion with you if you’re interested. Through these links, you will find a detailed history of my family name based on historical documents, starting in the early 1600s. The site reads like a story, one page at a time. It has a good flow, and contains super- interesting tidbits. Each part of the story was put together by the Burke whose name will appear on the page. Also: we make no money off of banners, so don’t bother thinking twice about clicking from one link to another – just come on in – and enjoy! Most of this information should be new to you, but if you have anything to ad – it would be my pleasure to include it. Historical documents are hard to come by, and they’re even harder to verify – so – if you have anything that you think deserves a spot on my site, feel free to contact any of the e-mail addresses given. If your last name is Burke, and you think that your line may run with ours, please contact me. Any of these addresses will be just as effective as any of the others – I monitor them myself (just in case any of my family members decide to be lazy Burkes!). Have fun!
