The animal research project was assigned on May 3rd.  This is a major, in-class project, requiring you to conduct research and create a PowerPoint preseantation.  You will be working alone on this project, and presentations will begin at the end of May.  Click here for a Distribution Map.

To complete this project, you will need the packet that I gave you (remember the one that had "DO NOT LOSE!" on every page?).  If you need this packet, click here.  Follow the steps as they are outlined in the packet and below:

1.  Select an animal -- sign up with Mr. Kibbe
2.  Research your animal -- we will go to the library as a class
3.  Plan your projects using notecards and create your PowerPoint in the computer lab
4.  Present to the class!

Remember you need at least the six following slides:
1.  Title Slide with picture
2.  General Description
3.  Food & Feeding
4.  Reproduction
5.  Lifestyle
6.  Interesting Facts

To earn extra credit, consider completing one or more of the following options:
1.  Photo Gallery of 5-10 pictures
2.  Distribution Map
3.  Slide transitions/Visual effects
4.  Additional Slides
5.  Create a picture of your animal using Paint
