Leaf Identifcation Poster
    The main objective of this assignment is to expose you to the variety of native and non-native deciduous trees in Pennsylvania in an effort to get you to learn more about them.
     To fulfill the requirements of this project you will need to find 10 deciduous leaves.  These leaves then need to be mounted on construction paper or posterboard.  Each leaf needs to be identified by using a field guide and labeled on the poster.  You may have more than ten leaves, and you may decorate your poster to make it more visually appealing. Try to use leaves that have already fallen off of the tree.  4 points will be given for each different leaf that is found that is correctly labeled.  Both of the following areas are worth up to five points: creativity and neatness.  This project is worth 50 points, and late projects will be subject to a 5 point per day penalty.  Additional work on the poster for extra credit, but must be pre-approved by Mr. Kibbe.  Field guides may be borrowed overnight from or an online copy may be viewed here:
