Classic Rock I am a huge classic rock fan.  This is the music I love the best.  It's basically what got me into being such a diehard music fan.  This type of music is what started the Rock N Roll revolution and existed when it actually took talent to make a record.  There were many great bands from that era and they developed so many diverse sounds. My favorite bands from the genre: Led Zeppelin The Beatles Pink Floyd The Rolling Stones Eric Clapton/Cream The Doors The Who Queen Van Halen Aerosmith Eagles Simon and Garfunkel AC/DC Lynyrd Skynard The Allman Brothers Band Songs of the Week: Pink Floyd-The Nile Song

Progressive Rock Progressive Rock is something that is unique and has not been previously done.  I just recently got into this type of music.  There are alot of unnoticed bands out there that are really good.  Band in this genre include: Tool The Mars Volta Rush Yes Dream Theater Frank Zappa Radiohead Jethro Tull Porcupine Tree Symphony X Opeth Liquid Tension Experiment King Crimson Emerson, Lake, and Palmer Other Music I also love the bands, Dredg, A Perfect Circle, Metallica, and some other new rock and rap.  I am looking for someone to teach me how to play bass, so if anyone knows someone who could teach me bass, that would be greatly appreciated.
