WEAVER, SUPERMAN & EMINEM

Well it’s Summer, and with Summer always comes "The Big Update" AKA the time around which I update my website. It happens on average once or twice a year, and this is the second time this year, so be proud of me!

Quite a bit has happened recently. I had a bunch of GCSE (General Certficate of Secondary Education) type exams this year, practice for the biggun’s next year. Did pretty well, an A* in Graphics and Bio (hurrah!) As in everything else, B in Maths and a C in Latin. But that C was ten percent higher than my B in Maths. Strange how these things work out, innit?

So, the title’s a bit of a strange one, isn’t it… let’s start with Weaver.

Some day not so long ago, an Inset Day, if I recall correctly… I think in the last update I mentioned something about having two people calling to wake me up. I don’t think it was the same day, but they done it then too, because I’m not the best morning person in the world. We went to the local Theme Park called "Chessington World Of Adventures"… we got there early and went straight on the Runaway Train. That’s where we met Bradley, the nutcase who waved at us a load. He was operating the thing… Nix… it might’ve been Lou… one of them started up a little chant which went something like:
"We love you Bradley, we do! We love you Bradley, we do! We love you Bradley, we do! Oh, Bradley, we love you!" And I added an "Oi, Oi!" on the end for good measure. This whole thing was later on though.

After the first go on the ‘Train, we went on the rollercoaster there known as The Rattlesnake. I was in a car thing with Nix and Bex, and the guy who checked the bars and stuff started talking to me because of my Liverpool shirt. Apparently, he would’ve thrown me off if he had the chance, because he was a Man. U supporter and claimed Liverpool only won "Mickey Mouse Cups"… so, I defended my pride and joy stating that the FA and UEFA cups were some of the most desirable for premiership clubs. At this point, the car pulled away. Lou also claims it was my fault her bar wasn’t locked in properly, because I was busy talking to Weaver. Oh, that was his name by the way. Nametag said so. Don’t worry, there was a "Snowy" hanging around, too.

Samurai was cool, kinda felt like you were gonna die when at the verrrry top (we were in the arm that hung completely vertical when it stopped for a sec, so, me being on the end could only see the park on its side) but it was hellafun. Astronauts experience something like 2.5Gs on takeoff, and this ride was 3Gs… I dunno, it was something like that… maybe it was 5. Anyway, it was more than an shuttle’s takeoff thing.

The Dodgems rocked. Crashing into people is always fun.

Toward the end of the day, we went back on the Rattlesnake to wind up Weaver, but he wasn’t there, so back to the ‘Train it was to see Bradley. It had this looong queue space, but the park was pretty empty, so it was just a looong run. Weaver’d moved to this ride and Nix sat behind me… threatening to shout stuff… and then she did. Yay, fun, not. I almost broke my back trying to stop her… and she didn’t say anything, ‘till we were off. Hurrah.

Back to the train it was later, with the Rattlesnake’s entrance visible from aforementioned walkway, and again, my uh, friends, decided to shout stuff. They dragged me there by saying somethingoranother then shouted out, so I collapsed on the floor and they tried to haul me up again.

Chessington was a fun day. Walking out of the park was too, I think Nix said something to Weaver on the way back ‘coz he smiled at me, but nevermind.

I also mentioned America Day in my last update, saying how it would no doubt end up being crap, but to my surprise it turned out to be wicked fun. The teachers really got into the spirit of things, most memorable being:

Mr Lewis, who completely stole the show as Eminem.

Mr French, as Superman.

Mr Celine (we love you, Mr C!!!) as Robin

Mr Carville as Batman, and Mr McGrath’s horrendous Hawaiian shirt..

I got some pictures from it for the Year 11 Yearbook (did I mention I’m on the yearbook committee???) and scanned them in with my new toy: my scanner! Hurrah!!!

I love my scanner, it’s great. I scanned in the Evolution logo, but the pic I had had a fold in it, and I managed to edit it out without a trace, wicked mate!

Speaking of Evolution, I loved that film!!! I went to see it a few weeks ago and it sparked a huuuuuuge obsession thing. Not only did I really wanna see the film again (still do), but that weekend I watched The X Files Movie accompanied by Pizza from Pizza Hut. Then followed the purchase (the next day) of one X Files video, File 8: Tempus Fugit, and within two weeks, my collection was as follows:

The Entire Season One VHS Boxset

The Entire Season Two DVD Boxset

File 8: Tempus Fugit

File 9: Redux

"Biogenesis"

The X Files Movie

The Entire Season Six VHS Boxset on order

I’m collecting all the DVD sets now, it will be fun, and I’m eagerly awaiting Season Three to come out here even though I’m not quite done with Season Two (only 8 episodes in, to be exact).

Damn, this baby’s long. I’m going on Activities Weekend, it’s gonna rock! Lou’s coming too, along with Lex, Jen, Bekka and Nikki, but the amazing thing is that Lou is coming… and she don’t like many active things! We’re busy training her at the moment, it’s fun, though I can’t really move my left arm too well as either a result of hauling myself up over this bar one time too many or too much basketball.

Speaking of Nikki, we’ve become real good friends lately. We were looking at the AW noticeboard the other day and we just suddenly like… noticed. It was kinda weird, but cool. :)

I’m getting bored of this update now, it always happens like this, but nevermind, I’ve already written 1088 words, I really should’ve put that into my English essay, oh well, nevermind. I’ve been busy with my A3 graphics coursework though and I’m really proud of the amount/quality of what I’ve done so far. :)

Right, that’s it, I’m off, night people…
