and through advertising in its pages. Subscribers, if happy satisfied with their subscriptions after the first year, are given the option of resubscribing for a limited time for only fifteen dollars. Advertisers pay ten dollars per page to get information of their event (camp, dance, jamboree), or a private message out to fellow Guides and Scouts around the world. In addition, information about their event appears in the Events Calendar section of the KYBO website. The KYBO is as humourous as it is serious, and news of relevant events in the Scouting world are as prevalent as satirical articles. Standards in an issue of The KYBO include a message from the Editor; a letters page; Guiding and Scouting news; an in-depth Feature article dealing with an issue in the Scouting world (like alcohol at events or sex at camp); interviews with Scouting and Guiding officials; editorials from contributors across the country; a comics page; a satire section; reviews and forecasts of camps and dances; a calendar; advertisements of upcoming events; and usually other interesting or humourous articles submitted to us from our readers. Almost all of the content of The KYBO, it should be noted, is not in any way lame. If you're interested in subscribing to The KYBO or becoming a contributor, check out other pages in this website for information. We're a highly successful and fun magazine created by senior Scouts and Guides for senior Scouts and Guides. To find out what we're all about, why not get a one-year subscription for your Group or for yourself? If for some reason you don't like it, don't re-subscribe. If you do, tell all your friends.
Yours in Scouting, Hermon Adams The KYBO Editor
