This site is child safe. There is no chat rooms or other areas where your child may meet individuals of questionable character. All the links are also safe. However, I can not vouch for the links on the linked sites. I have attempted to label all off-site content. Most of the games have links to the content providers and a few have a paid power-up option. If you do not wish for your child to use these links please instruct them so and do not let your child use the games provided here.
Useage of the games provided on this site is at your own risk. Please read the the terms of use here. Some of the games contain their own disclaimers which you will need to read before permitiing your child to play the game.
Some of the off-site games are apart of The Heart of the Home Teen-zine site. This site is intended for teens and your child should not use any other part of the site that is not directly linked from HOT-H Kids Pages.
This is a Christian site. If Christianity offends you and you do not wish your child to be exposed to Christianity, please do not use this site.
For children, who can not read, I have included picture links. The racoon and the lady bug on the home page link to the picture menu. I have included links to the story pages. I know an adult or older child will have to read them but, I wanted the kids to know they were there. Your child will need shown, proably, the first time how to play the games.
I am color coding the different areas of this site. Bible is tan with an ark border. Games/arcade are dark blue. Game/word are lilac with question mark border. Games/mazes, puzzles and memory are beige with puzzle piece border. Learning/Math has graph paper background. Music is white with note border. Art is green with watercolor box border. Learning/Social studies has yellow notepaper background. Learning/Reading, Writing and Spelling has a white notepaper background. Story backgrounds are layered pictures. MS Bible stories have tiny horizontal blue lines.
Jokes and fun has a jungle border. This allows you to know at a glance what pages your child is visiting. Pages without the color coded background or around the pop-up window is an indication your child is visiting an off-site link.
Warning: if your child chooses to click on the flash games in the game arcade this will open an off-site pop-up offering about 30 different games. Some of the games may be too advance for your child. I am still in the process of uploading the MS Bible Stories.
Some of the pages are slow to load such as "Jokes and Fun" and alot of the games.
