to everyone else the sky is gray today,
but my perception of the clouds in color,
in colors they are swirling blue and green,
mixing to form the yellows,

happiness it seems is defined by this,
the changing of moods they are changing,
the slyness of depression stealing away a smile,
though nothing is safe in my heart,

the way the sunlight catches a tear,
as if a fisherman catching a fish,
to throw in his boat as the tears are thrown away,
as if tommorrow wasn't bleak enough,
there is today:

it seems to me that we are all independent,
in thinking ideals values things we hold dear,
but anyways the sky holds something fear,
of the unknown that is all we ever steer,
away from;

everything and anything all the things new,
though we all see things differently;
through our eyes the world is dull......
