Bahston, Mass

I woke up as we were on the Mass Turnpike... Went through a gate, and the girl in the booth was pretty, and spoke normally.. Went through another, and the old guy in the booth was ugly, and talked funny... Hmmm... So anyway, we found the club (it was a real pain in the ass to find)... As I did my Teddy Kennedy impersonation ( I couldn't find my pants), I looked across the street, and there was Fenway Park.... two doors down was Mama Kin, the bar operated by Aerosmith.....other than that, nothing much happened in Bahston.....well.....I DID leave town with a smile on my face..... Biggi, Steph, Magnus and I sat in the back room of the bus and watched..... ummmm......  movies...... yeah.movies.. as we left Bahston, since Dickie Fut told us that the Canaduhian Border people tend to confiscate those types of films.... We ended up in some sleeping New England town about an hour later with the bus almost outta fuel.... Fut and I spent a few minutes on the CB, looking for an open gas station.... jeez, those Yankees talk funny.... Finally found one in some New Hampshire town, about 5 minutes after the generator cut off..... At least we didn't have to get out and push... only Dickie, Vuca and I were awake... (KILL THE BUS DRIVER!!!)

Technically Speaking

This was the first show where all the beams were on the floor, due to ceiling restrictions... If I had known the club was set up the way it was, I would have pulled the show... it was total bullshit, especially since there was an empty club right next door with a HUGE stage and great lighting rig that wasn't even being used that night.... But.turns out that Bahston had the lowest   turnout of all our shows.... Still, it was 750 people... And, thanks to Charles, the house lighting dude, for giving me a little supply of Intellabeam fuses..... Gaah, those came in handy...(laughs)
No big deal...Bahston's not a big college town.
Next stop...Montreal, Canaduh!!
