Vancouver, BC, Canaduh
Penny´s right....I didn´t wanna leave....but, we had a gig in Seattle.....that fiasco´s another REALLY LONG story.....
Vancouvcer´s a really COOL place....that bar was right across the street from the place where the $300 a night hookers pick up their victims..... Anyway, since the venue wasn´t properly equipped for my I-Beams, I had a few hours to mess around until a generator was located.... Penny came and picked me up.... We went to Granville Island, a total tourist trap.... killer shops there, though........ had to pass the Molson factory to get there..... my older brother would have LOVED it.... Anyway.... got back to the club, gave Penny my laundry since I wasn't going to have time to go to her hohse (Canaduh, remember) and do it myself, programmed, did the show on what has to be the WORST stage ever,, and tore the stuff down..... We hung out with The Offspring for about an hour, then had to leave... Did I mention that this bar has the best looking girl we saw the whole tour as a manager? Turns out Cara, the manager, is good friends with my Gemstone guy's second mentor..... I would have been PISSED if she was at the show and I didn't know it..... Fell asleep on the bus, and didn´t wake up until we got to Seattle. Hell, even American Customs didn't wake us up..... something about Dickie Fut ( did I mention that 'fut' is Icelandic for 'grumpy'?) looking innocent enough.... (KILL HIM ANYWAY!!!)

Technically Speaking

I don't care if I never see Richard's on Richards again... This joint had the WORST stage I have EVER SEEN., and I have been on a few hundred... Yes, Tim, it was even worse then Cowboy's in Beaumont... The stage was a total afterthought  to the rest of the club, stuck in a corner... odd shaped... I shudder when I think of it.. We had 6 IBeams on the floor this time...there was no room for all 8 and Lamb, so...2 stayed on the bus... Oh well..like anyone noticed...(laughs) Well...the fuckhead who wanted to steal the Pearl controller noticed... he ended up with my production notes... Like i needed them by that time, anyway...LOL)

Next stop..Seattle!
