ADOPTION   INFORMATION
If you see a dog or cat from our shelter that you would like to adopt, you will first be asked to fill out our adoption application.  All applications are reviewed for the best placement of the pet.  This process usually takes 24-48 hours.  We check all references.  If the adoption is approved, you may come to the shelter, pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption agreement, and take your new pet home.  To see the adoption application go here .  To see the adoption agreement go here .
Adoption fees are as follows:
$ 11.50  MEDICAL  FEE
THIS HELPS WITH OUR MEDICAL COSTS OCCURING DURING THEIR STAY.
             I know by now what you are thinking.

Why should I pay for a dog  or cat when there is someone somewhere giving them away?  If you will look at the price comparision you will see that the free dog or cat will end up costing you a lot more than an adoption would. And plus you will have the satisfaction of knowing you saved a life.

10 Reasons to adopt a stray!
BACK
If you are an out of town adoptee or rescue, it may be possible to transport the animal at least part of the way to you. We work with volunteer transporters all over the USA. The quickest way would be for you to pick the animal up, but if you don't mind the wait it may be possible to work out a transport.

I want to take the time right now to thank all the volunteers who give up their weekends and spend their own money on gas, to see that these animals get to their new homes or to a rescue.
A very BIG!! THANK YOU!!  Because without all of you this would not be possible, and a lot of these animals  would never have seen their new families.I have met some wonderful friends while coordinating these transports.

            God Bless each and every one of you!
