     Ranger, beastmaster, bard, paladin, and dark knight can only be obtained at level 30. Each job has a specific quest that must be completed to get it. Once the quest has been completed, you may select that job as you would any other job.

     At level 18, you can accept a quest in either Mhaura or Selbina. For either, you must kill enemies in that area and acquire 3 rare items. When you return these items to the person and complete the quest, he will allow you to have a support job class.

     Your support class' abilities will function at up to half of your current class. For example if you had 30 levels of warrior and 23 levels of white mage, and you set your main class as warrior and support class as white mage, you will become a [WAR30 / WHM15]. Once you set your support class, it's level will not increase. If you want to continue to increase the level of that class, you would have to change back to that class and level up again, which can easily be done by visiting your mog house.

     Finally, though there is still speculation, the 4 final job classes seem to be Ninja, Samurai, Summoner, and Dragoon. The Ninja is the master of stealth fighting, and can equip two ninja swords at once. The samurai knows various sword skills that are released with samurai swords. The summoner can call forth summons, espers, guardian forces, eidolons, aeons... whatever you want to call them. The dragoon is the master of the lance. He can jump to inflict major damage onto an enemy. None of these jobs have been added yet, but it is believed they will when the level cap is raised to 60 [november].
