Story

     Not long ago, in a small Windurst monestary, there was a gathering to determine what efforts would be made to assist in the war. The meeting consisted primarily of Tarutarus, though there were also white mages from other parts of Vana'Diel. Well, the monestary was for the most part quiet, with all of the white mages gathered about a large table.

     This silence was soon broken, as a horde of goblins began thrashing about. The white mages were helpless as they defended themselves with protect and cure. The more powerful ones cast holy, wiping out some of the goblins entirely, but the goblins were so numerous that the white mages ran out of mp by casting all the holy they could.

     It seemed the only option would be to escape, and thats exactly what they tried to do. One of these white mages was a Tarutaru named Nadyxes. Nadyxes had studied white magic for a long time, but had only begun practicing it. He managed to escape, running under the legs of a goblin who guarded the monestary gate.

     Nadyxes eventually ran into a thief who attempted to pickpocket him, only to find out there was nothing to steal. Seeing the little Tarutaru crying made the thief feel sorry for the little guy. She told him that her name was Anavrin, and that she was about to start a journey to find her father. She told him that she was sorry for trying to steal from him, and she was only trying to survive.

     Nadyxes told her that his monestary was just ravaged, and that he had nowhere else to go. He pledged to one day defeat the one who sent those goblins to destroy his monestary. And so his story began.

Gameplay

     Nadyxes will begin his journey as a white mage, and will eventually find his true power by gaining black magic as a support. His white magic will be absolutely essential to the survival of our party. His skill and knowledge of light magic may bring forth his full potential as a summoner in time...
