| A Former member of the US Army "Special Forces", one of his roles in the R&D and use of remote viewing was in and out at the field. Most of the "Modified Remote Viewing" techniques originated from the OOBE/Beacon experiments in the "2nd. Group" of the "14% Club" at The American Society for Psychical Research, under Dr. Karlis Osis, Director of research at the ASPR.and it's sponsor, The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Though it was early reported that all remote viewing R&D was later transferred to the U.S. Army and the D.O.D., it would appear that this "Modified Version" was not, and was secretly transferred to other Domestic and Military Agencies due to it's "custom applications". It is claimed that this modified version was taught by Parapsychologist, Dr. Richard Ireland. Because of the close association of "Special Forces" with the CIA, it would explain in a round about way that this version was employed possibly earlier than the U.S. Army Remote Viewing version called CRV that developed out of The Stanford Research Institute (SRI). Today Mr. Wheaton is a Consultant and Advisor to The Hawaiian Remote Viewers Guild in the civilian domestic R&D of this technique of Remote Viewing. |
