Fordham, New York... Located in the central area of The Bronx, in New York City. Fordham originally was a small american colonial village founded around the early 1700's. Going through the village was a small stream, and the kings road (Boston Post RD./Fordham Road). It was the main road to and from colonial New York City that went through the village towards Boston. Because of the roads location, Fordham became a quiet haven for patriots, spies and their families during the American Revolutionary War. During this time, Fordham Village served as a critical and successful escape point and route out of New York for General George Washington's Army. On the original "Rose Hill Estate" stands Fordham Manor. It later became the rosehill campus of what is today, Fordham University. On the west side of the campus stood the station and main railroad line from New York to White Plains, New York and beyond. West of the station were a number of small farm homes, and cottages. Later... it was in one of these cottages that the famous poet/writer and Military Astral Viewer, Edgar Allen Poe (aka: Sgt. Edgar Perry), would live before his so-called passing in 1849. All through the years, Fordham became more of a College bedroom community of homes and apartments surrounding the University. For reasons that can and can not be explained... Fordham also became a center for early psychical (AV/RV) and spiritual activity in and outside the rosehill campus. Besides Edgar Allen Poe, many known and unknown personalities in the military/intelligence community also lived in and around Fordham (see Col.William Donovan, Fr. Francis P. Duffy, William Casey, Alexander Moch, Etc.). In 1973, during the ASPR OOBE/Beacon experiments, Pioneer remote viewer, A. Edward Moch successfully Beaconed or RV'ed from his home at Fordham to the American Society for Psychical Research (ASPR) lab target site in Manhattan. Today, Fordham and it's University, still remains a center for intellectual and spiritual activitity. |
